Heard some bad takes but this must be up there with the most moronic and made by someone with either a very selective memory or severe CTE / short memory issues.
Wests are running the club aren’t they?
Sound logic. They do therefore they are.
If only the management of Balmain ( who went insolvent) were still around to guide the Wests Tigers.
I thought it might have been a heat of the moment kind of comment but the doubling down has shown it wasn't. Good luck with the Balmain Hour moving forward.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating - zero finals, zero success since Wests took the reins. I wish it wasn’t the case but it’s just fact.
Yea, if only Ashfield could pull masterstrokes like hiring Jones, renaming the club, moving to parra stadium. Remember that? The 90's was not a great time to be a tigers fan ASWELL as being a maggies supporter. There is a reason the two clubs were prime for the JV.
I have no doubt that Ashfield have their issues but claiming them to be the sole reason for the current shape the club is in is just silly.
Anyways, its 2021 and I really can't be having discussions about long dead football teams.
