Anyways, they are punted and can do their own thing but the punting will not automatically fix some of the ill-will a large % of posters had towards the punted, particularly one "THAT IS DONE HERE". I think this place can get back to something that is fair and equitable for all.

I don't think they intend for it to be true, just inflammatory.

I spent 2 hours chatting to the person he is talking about explaining the process we went through, issues we had and what the club was looking for from us.

Are you telling us that the WT "club" are monitoring comments and content on here and suggesting changes?

If you don't think they have people monitoring this stuff then you would be wrong. They pulled me up once over a reply someone made to one of our ambush posts.

Oh no, how embarassing. What was the end result....Did you remove the post, ban the poster?

Back in the forum's infancy the club distanced itself from the forum. Now they have inside men trying to moderate and influence it.

Nothing happened mate, no poster has ever been banned or post deleted at the request of the club to my knowledge.

Except the guy selling unlicensed merchandise?

His post wasn't deleted, a link was removed as it breeched licensing agreements. As I have stated before, I then spent 2 hours talking to the person who posted it about how to form a relationship with the club, which is what he was trying to do.

What’s your definition of fair moderation? Usually it means anything that assista the person who wants it. It is possible for it to be fair, while still coming down on you at the same time. The royal you that is

That's a dumb answer. Honestly it just sounds like you are causing trouble and intentionally trying to rub people up the wrong way and/or gloat at the misfortune of others. I don't want anyone to get banned and it's a sad day when it happens, or when people are not banned but they no longer feel welcome.

It's a shame all around and shameful on the participants - unnecessary spite and backstabbing all in the shared goal of trying to talk about footy.

I honestly like what he is trying to do and hopefully someone gets a group like that going that does chants and stuff. It is very different to what we have been working with the club on.

And I was pretty vocal about my support of him at the time . Some people said he was scamming them and went after him for no reason .
He just was flogging his group merch. With copyright issues .

The ironic thing is, we are promoting supporter groups at an upcoming Wests Tigers event, on of the places we are promoting is here. There are lots of things supporter groups can do by working together, sharing buses for an away game trip as an example. It is not an us against them situation. It is a Wests Tigers against the rest of the NRL situation.

Hi all, I just thought I would clarify a couple of things. Firstly, Eddie Otto and I discussed setting up a forum to support/publicise the podcast we developed nearly four years ago (in our first ever discussion actually). Due to a lack of time it fell onto the back burner. Since we formed the podcast we have added contributors/friends Declan, Garry and Steve and this has enabled us to share tasks around a little. With a new season on the horizon I actioned/built the new forum to achieve those original goals and we are fortunate to have Declan, Garry and Steve available to help with moderation/management. I think I can speak for Eddie in saying that neither of us have set out to cause damage to the Wests Tigers Forum. We still have links from our site and Intend to continue to credit the WTF on the podcast for topic ideas and comments etc. and we really appreciate the support and publicity Kul and the WTF has provided to our pursuit. As was also mentioned, as part of the wider supporter/member working group both Wests Tigers Podcast Forum and WTF are involved with a view to continuing to increase links and engagement between club and fans. Thanks, Joel.

God you play the victim so well . Could it be that it was an endless cycle of abuse hurled at one player?There would be pages upon pages of abuse , then there would be a huge argument , bannings , then silence for a week . Then The cycle would repeat again .
And you my friend were also knee deep in amongst it ! You weren’t Robinson Crusoe though . I always found myself sucked in , same as 5150, paws etc .

So in the aftermath of Willow and Cochise being removed as mods we are starting to get a little clarity as to why the moderation style changed lately. Seems the club sticking its nose in to this place might have had a bit of an impact. God you play the victim so well . Could it be that it was an endless cycle of abuse hurled at one player?There would be pages upon pages of abuse , then there would be a huge argument , bannings , then silence for a week . Then The cycle would repeat again .
And you my friend were also knee deep in amongst it ! You weren’t Robinson Crusoe though . I always found myself sucked in , same as 5150, paws etc .
The whole thread was a joke . And all of us who kept forever repeating ourselves couldn’t see the forest from the trees .
On both sides of the argument .
