Da Saliva is 20 years old by the way…

he is still under contact next year … so we are talking about where he will be in 2027 at age 22 with 50 or more NRL games under his belt …. Unfortunately ( for us) ….he needs to make that call in the next few months ..

Harry Grant played 2 NRL games before his 22nd Birthday, I don't think TDS has the right to be dishing out ultimatums over the future of Api.

We just need to convince him that a natural transition where he takes over from api as the main number 9 , is the best thing for him .
I reckon it’s the eels doing to him what they and the dogs did to Galvin . Undermining 101.
To be fair to TDS he could write his own check if he wanted to wait a year and head to Perth .

Ok … I’ll let the club make the calls on Api, and I guess TDS will take it from there .. … the club has all the facts .. …including the timeline of the next kid coming through .,. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be another Paps situation …

I don’t get the comparison to what Grant did though … he was waiting for a spot to open up at one of the two best teams in the comp, and an opportunity to be coached by Bellamy … totally different circumstances

Honestly, I would understand him moving on if he feels Api is blocking him. Its the stories being fed to the media delivering an ultimatum around the future of Api I don't like.

Similar to the calls for Latu saying he will leave if we don’t give him the keys to the castle, you have to earn the right to throw your weight around. Galvins form since coming into grade attracted suitors and big money, TDS and Latu still need to prove themselves.

If they think they’re all that, goodbye.

Its about the ultimatum that a 20 year old is giving a club over the resigning of an Origin player who has won premierships at multiple clubs.
