Have certainly missed Joel. It was refreshing hearing him being brutally honest about all things Wests Tigers.

He echoes my feelings about Madge. I supported Madge when he first signed but he has lost me because we are getting worse. Our defense is terrible and I don’t blame the new rules for it one bit.

As for the mission statement? Meh. It is something that companies frame and put in the hallway then forget.

In regards to the debate about senior figures, Pascoe has done well with the COE but I am hearing crickets about what I think is THE most important club issue - one main home ground. I understand that we have to have one round at Suncorp and one at Tamworth but why All these others in and around Sydney? Pascoe should be front and centre on trying to sort this out. He’s a fence sitter.

I don't think they want to commit until the NSW Govt sorts out its long-term stadia strategy. Tigers were originally staring down signing on for the refurbished ANZ, or a Bankwest equivalent at Homebush. Recently there's been talk of Campbo getting some money.

The long-term deal previous managers signed with Events NSW, originally for guaranteed ANZ funds, is what has us currently playing several seasons out of Parramatta Stadium.

I'd hold off making long-term deals myself.

So come out an say that. It’s one issue he could put to bed with a definitive timeline. More excuses for poor management.

I’m pretty sure he has said that. Along the lines that nothing will happen until current contracts have been fulfilled.

Fair enough. I must have missed it.

Don’t want to derail the thread.

All good. I’m sure he gave the timeline as well but I can’t remember the date off the top of my head.

Well said mate, you echo the thoughts and the experience of many of us, if only the club had a leadership that understood how to change things. Or at least the the courage to admit they are failing and move on.

The owners of the club are the issue .. ! Until
they demand success for all that are under them nothing is going to change!
It’s time for them to make the decision .,they want to own a footy club that is a successful entity if not sell out to a private buyer !
They are dragging this organisation of two great clubs through the mud treating the supporter base as mugs and suckers!

There is no money in it, so you are just setting your club up to fold.

Remember when Marwan Koukash Salford owner and racehorse owner enquired about wests tigers a few years back, maybe someone like that can take a controlling interest in the club.
Our current board have not been able to show success for 10 years

You echo the thoughts of many of the supporters on here no matter which of the foundation clubs we supported(Balmain in my case). Also i am sure you reflect the feelings of people who have only ever supported WT it is painful for all of us.
It is a cliche that can you read on this forum that we accept mediocrity, but we the clubs supporters loath mediocrity and have no say in changing it.Our board has been dysfunctional from the begining, initialy it was supposedly because of the equal JV split. That excuse is no longer valid but they are still not professional but embarrasingly amateur and untouchable.
The teams lack of performance perfectly reflected that amateurism tonight.
