I don’t care for role plays.

Covid will hit us harder than most I think. Our junior grades were going great guns then comp shut down. These guys getting no action now.

Sheens stuck in England, although I don’t think he will be the messiah that some make out.

We supposedly getting an academy out Campbelltown way - is this hoping or are things actually happening and near completion?

Declan makes a lot of sense, we need some decent signings to put along side any juniors that make first grade. Sadly for this crop in first grade like Blore, Stefano, Laurie, Tuki, Jake Simpkin et al they have senior players that aren’t much better than they are.

Covid couldn't have hit at a worse time for this club as we are currently redirecting our focus to the pathways again. The lockdown and shutdown of junior football occurred just as Kimmorley and Betsey started in their new roles.

The plans are in place for an academy out at Campbo, I spoke about this with the club recently and I was actually surprised at how far along it was but I am forgetting the exact details.

I 100% agree with Declan that I would like to surround these juniors with some stronger senior players. I actually think the juniors we have in our team at the moment are the best players in our team at present. I have Laurie, Stefano, AD as our best players, with Blore and Tuilagi coming along really well. I see positive signs and a few negatives that I believe they will overcome in Simpkin and Simpkins as well. I would love to surround them with some stronger support, I am just not confident that we will be able to do that.

Yeah good chat guys….I’m not going to pump myself up for a big season. But what I want to see is the likes of Talau Blore Tuilagi and Simpkin/s to train on well. What I don’t want to see is another panic buy ala JTJ again. Even if he come cheap just go with youth!!

Yeah good chat guys….I’m not going to pump myself up for a big season. But what I want to see is the likes of Talau Blore Tuilagi and Simpkin/s to train on well. What I don’t want to see is another panic buy ala JTJ again. Even if he come cheap just go with youth!!

I'm ok with the Roberts buy, he didn't cost us much and I think we at least got is $ value out of him. I wouldn't be opposed to giving him another season at winger or a backup centre in reserve grade.

See this is where I believe we should just promote the kids up to first grade. I’m not saying we have to play them but we don’t want dead wood floating around first grade.
