Wests Tigers poor last round record

We should beat the last placed Titans.
But we haven't won the last round since 2017. We've only won 2 last round games in the last 13 years. 4 of those losses, we coughed up 50 points or more.

We narrowly beat Titans at Leichhardt this year. If they could beat Dolphins today, then us, they could avoid the spoon if Knights lose.

Let's hope Benji has their heads out of early holiday mode.

I hope Benji reminds them of the humiliation of Spoon Bowl last year. This week should be about showing some lessons learnt re attitude towards winning and losing for coach and players.

Titans will turn up for Des.

I think we're better placed than the last few years. If I recall correctly the side hadn't only clocked out for the year but also was injury ravaged by the end of the season. Neither appears a concern this year.

We say it every week it seems but this match will be another good gauge on our progress as a team. Titans will go in trying to avoid the wooden spoon and emotion around Foran & Des' final games. They will play attack at all cost footy I reckon so we have to be ready for that. If we turn up with the same intent & focus as previous weeks, we win.

They had 60 put on them by a Moses-less Eels last year with the spoon at stake.

Hopefully this weekend we get to see the growth in the side and in Benji's coaching. I think they will turn up

And let’s not forget the Redcliffe debacle a couple of seasons ago !
Yes, we really have trouble icing any important games, especially last round, and whilst this is not being played for cattle stations, I think it’s very important for us to go into the off season as winners. Puts an exclamation point on an improved 25, and hopefully sets the tone for 26.
It would also be really good to put a score on someone, and why not the Titans.

The Tits played well at times against the Phins; there is plenty of talent in the team and they have a lot to play for this weekend at their home ground. I'm sure Benji will not make the same mistake this week as he did in spoon bowl.

If we play with the intent we win this.

But most importantly we have to put a score on the Titans because as someone has already mentioned, our points differential is only 5 better than the Parra-sites.

I'm pretty sure that the Parra-sites are capable of putting a score on Newcastle, us putting a score on the Titans I am not so confident about.

To make matters worse the slimey ones have the last game of the round so they will know exactly what they need to do going into the game.

I don’t think Benji gave too much of a shit himself about losing spoonbowl. He certainly didn’t seem to in the post match presser.

Hope their fans have had a gutful of the team and don't turn up, that would be a big help when we run out.
