Wests Tigers re-sign Zane Musgrove till 2024

Probably already been said but a 4 year contract is a big surprise. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but those lengths are usually reserved for marquee players. At the same time though, we couldn’t keep signing guys till the end of 2023.

could not disagree more, without Aloiai, we only have Tamou, Musgrove and possibly JO, everyone else is either unproven or plodder!
We need at least 2 more aggressive props of JWH, Papalii type!

Garner worries me but with a lot more bulk in the front row now it would be great to see him have a break out year. I’d rather we sign a Sironen or Radley type but good luck to the kid.

Nah they will just keep pushing the same narrative as always, unfortunately we are not a favoured club. Makes any success much sweeter 2005 must have demoralised them.

I suspect we got him for a lower rate by giving him an extra year. Have no issues with it if the price is right & he has alot of years ahead of him as well. He will sign another contract after this one.

I agree to an extent, still think Tamou is a bigger signing but do think Musgrove will be great for Blore and Stefano. Real grunge and having that grit/hit en hard style will be great for the youth coming through as well.

I see him as more beneficial for the likes of Brooks. Liddie and Simpkins.
