Probably already been said but a 4 year contract is a big surprise. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but those lengths are usually reserved for marquee players. At the same time though, we couldn’t keep signing guys till the end of 2023.

Garner is one of the few who can hit really hard (in the right circumstances). If he can work on his general defence - hopefully through not having to cover people around him - he'll do well.

As you say he does run very good lines, very much in the Rowdy mould. And he did it better on the left of Brooks.

Heard on MMM a while back talking about D Fifita move to Titans and how they were going to get Gordy Tallis 1 on 1 mentor him. They put the same question to Mark Gyer if he was to mentor/ manage any rising star, he said it would be Shaun Blore!!

It's a weird one, we can all see that he can be a good player but hasn't really delivered yet.

Feel like he is Madge's lovechild or he keeps impressing him off the field with his training as he hasn't produce too much on the field yet.

Excited to see how he goes this year with hopefully less injuries.
