Wests Tigers have again surpassed 20,000 Members for the second year in a row with a final Membership tally of 20,739.

The official number for 2019 highlights continued growth for the club in Membership, with over 20,000 Members signed up in consecutive seasons for the first time in history.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked the club's Members for their continued and unwavering support.

"I'd like to thank our entire Membership base for their support this year," Pascoe said.

"Every year we continue to see our Members not only grow in number but their engagement in the club and players. We've developed some really genuine and authentic relationships and we're excited to see those continue to grow.

"As a club, we couldn't be more thankful for the support of our Members and I'm sure we'll see them right behind the team in a big finish to the 2019 season."

Wests Tigers will begin the club's 2020 Membership program in the coming days with 2019 Memberships officially rolling over to 2020 Memberships on Wednesday, September 18. The club is providing an extended opt-out period for those want to make adjustments to or change their Membership in the coming season.

2020 Memberships will then officially go on sale on Thursday, September 19 with a number of new and exciting packages to be launched in the coming weeks.

After listening closely to feedback and input from Members, Wests Tigers have again made improvements to the adult core park and junior core park — adding new features while also making design enhancements to the packs.

To check if your Membership is set to roll over or make any changes to your Membership in 2020, please contact Wests Tigers during business hours on (02) 8741 3300 or email membership@weststigers.com.au with your details.

@innsaneink Possibly . Perhaps they thought they were buying tickets to Western Plains Zoo

Probably west coast eagles fans who signed up to thr wrong club

I always wonder about these figures. Sell memberships for $10 and you're bound to get a bunch of people.

To get a real measure of success, they should be weighted for the price.

Like a breakdown on types? How many full season / single venue / out of towners / pet / baby memberships?

Yeah, something like that mate. Just weighted so it's comparing like for like. We might have doubled our memberships, but if all we've done is convert people from 1 x $100 membership to 2 x $50 memberships then we've gone nowhere.

I have a feeling it's pretty correlated to the numbers as I remember that around 4 years ago they started offering all these small packages, like the pets and out-of-towners.

Yeah, no big change in crowd numbers but a big jump in memberships is suss.

@TheDaBoss gone up a whole 30 in the past year!!!

Personally given all the rubbish that has gone on in the past 12 months I think that is amazing.

Growth is growth. Well done to the club.

It may be that a reduction in the membership cost has increased the number of members and essentially the financial return is the same however, it shows the nrl that there is a solid group of supports for this Sydney club.

Hopefully there will be some transparency from the club over the next few weeks , the rollover is around the 5th of September. This is the first time we are thinking of not renewing and I know a few in the same boat .
The continuing use of multiple grounds and the general performance of the club in general from the footy arena / administration and governance leaves a bit to be desired!
Spending a couple of thousand in these economic times could be spent elsewhere so hopefully the CEO ( I think we have one ) will enlighten us on the future direction the club will be undertaking and signing news of players moving into 2020 ..the gravy train might not be pulling into the Tigers station as it has been ! Looking forward to the enlightenment..
