Volunteers offer their services not the other way around.
I volunteer at an amateur rugby league club. I’ll stick to that. Maybe that’s where our admin belong.LOL - yea and most end up volunteering at an Op Shop because they don't know whats out there. I take it you would be happy sorting out the undies at Salvos because you didn't know there were game day Volunteer jobs at NRL clubs. Just don't sniff the undies.
lol - good for you - maybe some volunteers aim higher.I volunteer at an amateur rugby league club. I’ll stick to that. Maybe that’s where our admin belong.
Our club is though? My posts are about money hungry ****.Oh cry me a river - man it must be hurting your pocket or something if someone does something they like for nothing - wake up not everyone is a money hungry cnut.
Don’t give Wests Tigers ideas mateMost undies sniffers at salvos are serving community service sentences
Huh?Our club is though? My posts are about money hungry ****
The club that makes a profit but is looking for volunteers. Not money hungry?Huh?
Nah us ‘tossers’ thought it might be good if the club employed some unemployed people you pumpkin.****
Are you really that naive?Nah us ‘tossers’ thought it might be good if the club employed some unemployed people you pumpkin.
I have no clue what you’re on about and let’s just move on. People disagree sometimes. Are you really that naive?
With due respect mate I think some unemployed people like like some employment.- the club offers people the opportunity for some volunteer work IF THEY WANT IT - and the usual crowd come out of their caves and start putting sht on the club and anyone who thinks its a good idea. Did you tossers even think that some unemployed people might think it looks good on their resume that they volunteered for someone other than the usual religious.
A club that gloats about profits and community involvement. Maybe employ a few locals? You know, walk the walk not just talk the talk.www.zerotackle.com/tigers-launch-volunteer-army-for-2023-with-mixed-reviews-127826/amp/
They also suggest volunteers will receive two free tickets in general admission to all home games, while also being able to experience behind the scenes action.
Pretty surprised by the majority view here tbh.
1. People don't volunteer for things they have no idea they can volunteer for.
2. If I were a kid (say 12?), mad about the tigers, I reckon I would love to spend a day with my dad helping out, knowing I've actually played a small part in helping the club with its 'game day experience'
3. Appears volunteers get 2 GA passes for all (I assume, remaining) home games, so what's that worth? They'd probably go to them all anyway, so they'd actually end up saving money....
Don't get the hate.
Thousands of volunteers across the NRL, supporters groups and grassroots footy.
I think some people miss the main point of the conversation, volunteers are an integral part of our workforce...Rotary,Lions,firefighters and teachers all have some form of volunteer workers..With due respect mate I think some unemployed people like like some employment.
