Size dosent make a footballer .two average signings so far .we got rid of 3 wingers ,now we sign two fringe first graders at best .back rowers and centres are what we need .wingers are easily found when the inside men get the ball to them .i can't wait to see milkys side with both making the starting line up

Yeah size doesn't matter 1/4

What happens when they isolate Naiqama with Daniel Tupou with a high ball

Naiqama is 170 cm

Tupou is almost 200 cm

Hey happy maybe you should wear your glasses when you read ,where did I say size dosent matter ..ask Peter Wallace if his size worries him ,or cam smith .i was referring to another post .as for naigama I'll wait and see how he goes when he makes the top grade .

Size does matter, at least my happy, smiling wife thinks so. Hahaha

As stated, these are only second tier signings. You don't get 120kg, 200cm tall, very fast and talented players for minimum pay to play NSW cup.

You get blokes like these.

But lets start another "I know better" thread.

We need smart signings across the board

My opinion he isn't a smart signing

I think Naiqama will surprise you, Happy. By mid next year you'll be singing his praises - mark my words

A good big man will beat a good little man

And Naiqama is not even that good

Then why did the club show the door to Lote Tuquiri and Mr. T?

have to agree with Happy on the part about Naiqama - sounds like a young Luila.

We don't need value for money signings , we don't need great depth signings , we don't need second tier signings

Right now we need a quality centre

If anyone thinks we will finish any higher than 10th with our current centre combinations they are kidding themselves

I do know better CQ

If you think that any of our current centres are up to bare minimum NRL standard you are kidding yourself

We need a quality centre asap or we will be sitting in the bottom six sides no matter how much we improve as a team

What will win us games is,
1\. Strong spine,7 6 9,
2.Strong defending and attacking centre combination,

Our forwards will develope further next season and proved in 2014 they can match it with the big guns….

Taylor has to fill the voids in our game somehow, with who is the question.

WT have to stop leaking points week in week out.

We need huge plugs.......ha ha

All of the above and staying injury free.

And Naiqama is not even that good

I do not know much about this player but I believe that he scored something like 7 tries in eight games for Penrith. In the couple of games that I saw him ( on television ) he set up three tries in one game. Reserve grade I know, but.

I agree with your sentiments. But Happy, the club has kept its supporter in the dark about how much money, if at all, it has left, within its cap spaceto buy new players. What if the club has No money left to buy a quality centre. What does it do? Sack Lawrence, go through the legalities of what is owing to him on his contract and use whatever is left over to buy the best centre available for the money left over?

He's a good one "magpiecol" he won't let any one down. Hope he continues his good form and scores lots of tries for us.

He is better than Lulia, and he is far more appealing than playing Patterson or Akauola on the wings,he is on a second tier salary and only a 1 year contract.
If he doesn't perform or work out there is nothing lost, but i think he will be a handy pick up,as we usually have no luck with injuries.

Mathew Johns stated that he thought that we would finish 4th.

Then come out and tell us we have no money left in the cap to buy a quality centre atm

But don't sit here and try and tell me we will be a premiership threat with our current playing personnel

Without at least one quality centre firing on all cylinders , a back rower who can make 40 + tackles every week and limited injuries to key players we will struggle again
