I think that for the rest of 2018 ONLY it would be a good move to have Robbie back,In 2019 he can play ESL.
Robbie has always had his faults but plays his heart out for the club.

Ivan will give him his roll and enforce he sticks to it. I doubt Robbie will buck the system and will play that roll. If it's for half a season I'm 100% for it. I also think Robbie will be hungry for semi-finals footy to end his career along with Benji at our beloved Wests Tigers. Lets get it happening Ivan.

I’d prefer e went in a different direction but there are positives.

1)Farah has been an excellent mentor for Cook and he is loved by the coaching staff and management at Souths. I know some personally.

2)He is currently better than our current batch of hookers. Most important point.

3) It rights a wrong done by JT to one of our club legends and heals some wounds for some supporters.

4) Provides a storyline should we lose our next two games effectively ending our season.

Cleary is no mug the positives far outweigh the nagatives. As long as it’s short term I’m fine with it.

He was treated like dirt by a grub and reacted poorly I admit but he’s an emotional little guy and his loyalty and love of the Tigers can’t be questioned. His actions were poor but sometimes that happens when people are out to get you.

This!! My thoughts exactly.

I promise you I would stick my nose right in the middle of any organisation I worked for if it was run like the Tigers were a few years back. I admit that putting my nose in would probably be just as damaging and I would regret it but it would be way to hard to sit back and let it rot.

benji came back and has preformed well, so its a YES for me, bring robbie back for the remainder so the season. we get a great defender and a better dummy 1/2 than we have and he loves the club, no down side with IVAN in charge.

His ability would help us no doubt.
Im pretty ambivalent about the past I suppose… I'm sure half a season would turn into 1.5 tho

I'd prefer he didn't come back but a hooker is exactly what we need.
Liddle's the future but he's not going to get us to the finals in 2018\. Robbie may not either, but we're far more likely than with Taylor, Reynolds, Godinet or McIllrick at 9.
I think Robbie's been humbled by playing ISP and knows Ivan's will drop people (Rochow, Tui, Noffo, Grant. Aloiai etc) not playing to expectations.
If he comes here and follows instructions he could be the difference between finals and also-rans.
I have sufficient faith in Ivan's man-management that he can make this work.

Given that at present Liddle is about as durable as toilet tissue on an orbital sander, Farah would be the best option we have at hooker. Without a good hooker (which Farah still is), this team is going nowhere.

Past is the past, this arrangement would suit both Farah and the Club and give the team a better chance to play Finals this year. Everyone should move on and focus on that.

Cold light of day were a better team with Robbie at 9 and thats all i care about.

Our draw is very unfavourable. Dragons and Rabbitohs twice over the final8 rounds.

However at least with Mbye at 1 and Farah at 9 we have hope.

At present were only going one way and thats down.

Farah comes back Souffs make the grand final Cook suspended for dangerous speed Farah watches by the pool in Bali

This sums it up, we need to make the finals.

Never learn some people … straight to the media , I would rather the spoon than have this TURD back at our club ,some of us do not forget the crap this DH brought to our club!

Can't see this happening. We are the Wests Tigers not the Robbie Tigers.

Could he possibly join us, keep his mouth shut, play a bit part role, not be in the leadership group, play ISP when needed? I doubt it. It's just not him.

He burnt his bridges incredibly badly when he left. Cleary may put the question to the Pascoe and the board but it would be highly doubtful they'd sign off on this in my opinion.

He wouldn't help us. He'd overplay his hand like he always does and would stifle Brooks.
Benji and Farah couldn't regularly get us to the finals when they were at their peak so I cant see them doing it now.

Does he fit in the new culture of the club? So, throw everything away about having or starting a new club culture for the sake of "WINNING"?

He is a very good player no doubt, but really? Throw everything away for the sake of a few wins? This reminds me of one who sells his birthright for a mess of pottage… hhmmm

It's Ivan's call and I will support what he does but if it happens I will not be happy. I hope Cleary does tell him how it is and that the club doesn't owe Robbie anything.

Tigers: "We are building a new culture and something special"

NEK MINNIT

Tigers: "Lets Sign Marshall, and enquire about Farah and Woods"

:deadhorse:

Din't read the article hey..

I did.
I know it's more Farah enquiring at the Tigers than anything.
Still it's exactly what we DONT need.
