Why would Farah even entertain the thought of coming back to the Tigers. Souths are a real chance of going very deep into the finals and he only needs one injury and he will be part of it. Also come the big games at the end of the year he may even get a bench spot.

Come to the Tigers and it will be much the same as when he left

I thought the same but kept to myself. I find it a bit incredible that he is not even on the bench over there. They must be rich in talent or breaking new blood in. It would be so amazing if he gets a GF with the team that expelled JT - who will be smiling last?

Because we're holdin out for a hero..We need a hero ..We're holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night..He's gotta be strong..And he's gotta be fast..And he's gotta be fresh from the fight ..we need a hero..we're holding out for a hero 'til the morning light.. He's gotta be sure..And it's gotta be soon.. And he's gotta be larger than life!

Because if he comes back to the Tigers it will all be about him

Any chance the Farah announcement and that of the other suggested signing may be held due to working out Tim Grant etc to another club.

Tell Souths that they can keep Robbie and we’ll take Cook.
Great deal!

You can check out the Warren and there was not one word of praise for Cook's last NRL game but his kept his tackle count up. Consistency is also important. You had better bring Robbie back with him for continued specialist-hooker coaching.

Hook line and sinker, I just posted that comment to see if I could get a reaction from BBF.
Got you 100%.

If Farah was to return to Concord, it would only be for the remainder of the season. Given there is no NRL played next weekend due to the representative round, his first assignment would be against the Titans at his beloved Leichhardt Oval. With the game scheduled on a Sunday, **a sellout crowd would be guaranteed** for what would be one of the biggest events in the oval's recent history.

One thing is for sure If Farah does come, he can't stifle our attack as he was supposedly doing before, because we don't have any attack at present.
And the bloke Farah was supposedly stifling is Brooks, and he has not ignited any attack, so maybe it wasn't Farah's fault we couldn't score tries.

AAAHHH' some logic!!!! we dont see much of that here,
its strange that most , or all ,of our problems didnt magically disappear the moment that Farah walked into South Sydney. After all, He was the Antichrist, the maker of all our problems
WHO then, is the real culprit.
Is it a hang over from the worlds worst COACH, (for want of a better word) or is there a traitor in our midst.
Its up to us to find the person who really has been stuffing us up?
We should have a new Poll to find out who is the most LIKELY

I would, but Im computer illiterate

Real culprit?
Traitor in our midst?
Ahahaha you make me laugh.'
Maybe were just not that good of a football team…......

There will not be any sellouts at out home tracks in the near future even if they signed JC

The Wests Tigers have approved a proposal put forward by coach Ivan Cleary at Monday night's board meeting to sign hooker Robbie Farah for the rest of the season.

NRL.com understands the Tigers will offer Farah a contract for the remainder of the Telstra Premiership season, however the joint-venture club will have to rely on South Sydney agreeing to his release. If Souths agree to let Farah leave, it is expected the deal could be done within the next 24-48 hours.

The Rabbitohs, who are genuine premiership contenders, don't have a first-grade quality back-up hooker for NSW rake Damien Cook.

However, it is understood coach Anthony Seibold made Farah a promise earlier in the year that he would allow him to leave the club should he land a contract elsewhere.

Cleary fronted the Tigers board on Monday night at the club's monthly meeting and provided an update on the club's recruitment and retention plans, which included a desire to bring the club legend back to the Wests Tigers just 18 months after his ugly departure under former coach Jason Taylor.

Farah, has played 26 matches in the NRL for Souths over the past two seasons after wearing the black, white and orange jersey 247 times over 14 years since he made his debut in 2003.

Despite representing NSW three times in the State of Origin arena in 2016, he only played nine matches with the Wests Tigers in his final season at the club after a falling-out with Taylor.

Cook's red-hot form this year, which led to his selection for the Blues, has restricted Farah to just two matches at NRL level in 2018\. He has spent the majority of the season with the Rabbitohs' feeder club North Sydney in the Intrust Super Premiership.

Angry no more, Farah ready for Tigers return
Heavy loss won't define team's season: Cleary
Farah told coach Anthony Seibold of the discussions with the Tigers after Thursday night's win over Parramatta at ANZ Stadium.

Farah is earning more this year (at least from Souths) than he did last year, but the only time he will play would be if Cook was unavailable.

Oh well at least he should provide plenty of amusement on here for the rest of the year…. Will be interesting to see if he can get us going forward at all, if he will play differently under Cleary

Back to the Future.
Who would have thought Marshall and Farah in 2018.!!
I wonder what JT is thinking - some colourful superlatives no doubt!

If he does return I'm sure it will be with cond9but frankly I think Robbie is past that.
1\. I think he can play 80 nearly every game for half a season.
2\. Think he can be at his best at a high standard..
Will definitely transform our side.
3\. All of sudden we have new hope of a finals appearance. With he and Mbye as well as Marshall ,Reynolds and Nofo back it's like we have just signed 5 players.

If it happens and we somehow make the finals and play roosters it will be interesting times ahead.. JT would love that

If Farah can still last out a fast, solid 80 minutes at this stage of his career this is a good signing. If not it will probably be a bad investment.

As nice as that would be you'd have to think it would be a miracle to happen. We weren't even competitive on the weekend and we have to play Canberra again, as well as Saints twice and Souths twice. We're a million to one to make the finals, maybe a billion to one.

So you're telling me there's a chance?
