Would not be a bad purchase at a reasonable price.

he is one of the better players in NSW cup, i was extremely surprised he didn't get a crack in the halves for the Eels at some stage, I know he is playing fullback at the moment, but as plenty of experience in the halves.

he doesn't excite me, but could be more back up

Can play every backline position plus hooker. Probably a handy squad player. Hopefully he is as good as the last player who was at the Wests Tigers who could do similar.

Will spend most of his days in the Wests Tigers state cup team though.

I would sign him as we know each season you go through a number of injuries and need quality back up players to come into the side and perform.

Humble has pace and has played at full back and in the halves.

Would give Brown first shot at full back and have Humble waiting in the wings.

I hope I am wrong but Lawrence may have to be managed through the rest of his career and may need to play reduced games to make sure his career is prolonged.

Officially signed with Tigers

Wests Tigers is pleased to announce the signing of exciting young Parramatta utility Tom Humble for season 2012.

The 22-year-old has agreed to a one-year deal to play under Head Coach Tim Sheens. Humble can play fullback, five-eighth, half-back and hooker .

He played 6 NRL games for the Eels after making his first grade debut last year.

Prior to that, Humble played Toyota Cup with the North Queensland Cowboys in 2008 and in 2009 he played in the Northern Pride Premiership winning Queensland Cup side. In that same year, he represented the Queensland Residents side.

Humble also played for NSW Residents this year at fullback.

Wests Tigers Recruitment Manager Warren McDonnell said the signature of Humble would be extremely valuable to next year’s NRL squad given his ability to cover several positions.

“Tom’s an exciting young player who can only get better,'' McDonnell said.

"It’s important for us to add depth to some of our key positions and Tom can help us do that. “

Tipping that he will be on match incentives due to the length of the contract (1 year) and the limited opportunities he had with Parra. Who knows, he maybe one of those regular surprise Sheens inclusions next year a la Crockett, Moodie, Utai, etc

Please elaborate…........

I had good family friends down from QLD who lived next door to a young Tom Humble. They watched him play in the NSW Cup after which he met with some people from Wests Tigers. Nothing was confirmed but by all reports it was very positive. My long time family friends can confirm Tom Humble was a pain in the bum asked a million questions as a young kid consistently! They also said he was a good bloke and a really good footballer!

My conclusion is you can't go wrong with signing a QUEENSLANDER!

Now I can get a banner made up…

Reddy to Humble

 Tops.

Solid signing, especially to fill in for Farah when/if needed.

Fullback spot is wide open for next season. Should be interesting.
