Very happy with this team. i too am a bit confused with utai being selected but if Brown is injured as Beau apparently is then i am ok with it. time will tell with Utai. but as others have said he might just have a blinder against his old club. I AM PUMPED

what is it with Sheens in old washed up slow reserve grade wingers who cant catch bombs?? Idris and Barba will have a field day down that side of the field Monday night and the game thease days comes from lucky kicks to the wingers

Utai will fire. Well I hope he proves a lot of us wrong. He certainly has the potential.
Lets give him a couple proper games first. Could be a great signing

Rather than bag Utai,I am more inclined to agree with this.

You'd think Utai was entitled to one game to show if he's up to it before you guys go all Fitzhenry on him.
Apparently not…

I am good with that. Would have had Woods over Fifita personally but Andrew has the runs on the board.

As for Utai Sheens obviously knows what he wants from his wingers and from the available options he feels Utai is the best available option. I think Latu is better but having a fellow who has played NRL in the past and is looking to prove himself can be very handy in the early rounds

we seen enough of him in reserve grade, he couldnt even make the bulldogs first grade team the last 3 years
bombs will be going crazy down his side all night, I also remember some very lazy games from him which showed his downfall to reserve grade

I know Beau can count himself lucky…...

Looks like a real good team.

I'd love to see Moltzen getting plenty of time at fullback and make the position his own.

Makes you wonder how he made the NZ test team hey? Look I'm not saying he doesn't have issues but I've seen very little of him in the last 3 or 4 years (he wasn't contracted with the Dogs last year btw) but give him one game. He had some bad knee problems towards the end of his time at the Dogs who had some pretty handy wingers ahead of him as well.

Just give him one game at least before you write him off.

We all hope he has a blinder and I for one hope he does shove my words back down my own throat . I just feel that Brown deserved first choice if he is fit and can play multiple positions as well . I know that Utai has played a bit 2nd row but If i remember it was a bit of a disaster

NZ test team? LOL Shannon Hegaty played for Australia too! but hey I hope he proves me wrong, but I can see im as our ONLY weakness in teh team this week and its a important one when you consider the game thease days has a lot of bombs and trys off kicks

Utai is there because Sheens is a massive fan of wingers who can make ground in the plays after a kick. He obviously thinks Utai will make more metres out of dummy half than Mitch.

well Fitzy used to run sideways from dummy half about 2 metres each time haha! lets not forget the great comeback by Moodie

well in his prime Utai used to do that, but since that injury he had he was never the same, I recall him being very lazy player, like standing around and not diving on the ball showing no urgency. like I said which led to his downfall if only we kept Pat Richards

Yeah we get it - you hate Matt Utai…

I'm not saying he will make a lot of metres I'm just explaining why I think Sheens picked him.

**Matt Utai the "Daniel Fitzhenry" of 2011!!!!…**

Saw Mitch Brown at the recent fan day and he said he'd be 100% for RD1…

Watch the Doggies bomb Utai all night....

Apart from Utai I'm happy with the team..!
