WESTS Tigers Team V Canterbury..

Last week when I said Garner will start someone comment that I had no idea about football.

Guess IC has no idea this week.

Yeah I also had him in my starting team last week and similarly have "no idea about football". It was TIGER that made the comment. Whatever. Not sure why starting (with a stronger pack around you) is so much more challenging than starting from the bench where you sit there getting chewed up inside by nervous energy.

The opening exchanges can be very intense and high impact… Most coaches see 20 or 30 mins in when the sting has gone out of the game as an easier intro for rookie forwards.
Seeing how he went last week often bending the line must have convinced coach he is up to starting from kick off.
Best of luck again to him he's a fine prospect

I’m tipping Garner cements a starting 2nd row spot by seasons end. Really like the way he plays pushing through the line. One thing I don’t recall from watching him - does he have an offload?

Typical type of game we lose

You may say, but we are 4/1 against the bottom 4 sides. We are also 5/1 against the Top 4 sides. That's not normal Tigers form based on previous seasons.

Main issue this year is we are 0/7 against teams placed 5-12\. I.e. we get up for big games and games we expect to win, but struggle against teams against which we are more evenly-matched.

Our back rowers maybe a little small in size (MCK & Garner) but by crikey i was very impressed with how both especially how well MCK went last weekend against the wabbits .. he constantly hit the ball up with passion and determination and quite often got his nose through the line. He certainly didn't shy away from his duties. I've been pretty hard on MCK in the past, but i'll have to give him respect after last weekends game. Garner, i like so far .. i'd like to see how he goes for longer periods though. I think he'll be our out wide, hard running forward, punching holes in the oppositions backline, off passes from Brooks and Benji, like Lawrence does but only bigger and maybe quicker.

One of the main reasons why we have looked good in the last 2 weeks, is that our spine (9,7,6 &1) are our all working together .. !! That's pretty damn good only after 2 or 3 games together .. they can only get better with their combinations, which is really good news for us as a team .. !!

We are couple of serious injuries from from disaster.

That could be said for every club in the NRL

Bulldogs have nothing to lose by adventurous play and we are most likely favourites which goes to our heads so it all plays into a surprise loss for us which has been the go over the last few years

Happy with the team. Just as important a game as the previous two. Let's hope the boys don't think the 2 points are in the bag and not show up.

Yeah definitely. The middle and crappy teams have really brought us unstuck this year.. With our record against the top 4 it’s stupid that we aren’t even in the top 8..

The Dogs team have nothing to lose. No one expects them to win. Makes it a tough game for us.

If we can get some early points and hold them out we could run away with it. Otherwise could be a real close one.

Hope everyone is up for especially the older heads.

Second time this has been said - again, I put it to you we aren't the same side as previous seasons. We are are 4/1 against the bottom 4 sides. We are also 5/1 against the Top 4 sides. That's not normal Tigers form based on previous seasons.

Farah cleared to play. Trained with the full team today

Didnt hear anything about Garner and Nofa but considering Farah was the worst out of the 3 and passed fit I'm guessing they are good to go aswell
