Wests Tigers Team v Canterbury

We have to be ruthless in this game. We shouldn't be thinking of just victory, but also of putting on a big score. Or points differential is bad and there's a lot of teams vying for 8th place. Winning alone may not be enough.

Avoid their middle, attack the edges, especially their left, don't kick to DWZ unless he's going to be under pressure. Force a lot of repeat sets early and drain their energy and steamroll them in the second half.

The simple cold hard facts are we need to win this game with our defence .....

We keep them to single figures we should win barring an attacking abomination of a game from us

But I HATE when we play 7.30 pm Saturday games

Foran almost single handedly destroyed us first round then went off injured from memory. No Foran this time - no excuses.

@rustycage Foran played the best he has played in a few years against us. Glad he is not there this week. DWZ is a danger. The Tigers have had some very good wins of late. I like the resolve of the team.
If Brooks kicks as well as he did against the Cowboys we will be very hard to beat. Besides for the first Parra game and the first Raiders game our defence has been very good. Out for and against is still bad mostly because of these two games. We haven’t been able to blow teams off the park in attack.
Madge will have the team up for this game.
Tigers to win big.

Probably not a popular opinion but I’d rest Robbie for this game.
As well as he played in the Cows game. He seemed to be hobbling a lot in the back field. I’d give him a weeks rest.

I understand the logic behind it, he 's looking a bit bruised and battered, but at this point of the season where we're still in contention we need to play our best 1-17. And Farah is our best 9 imo.

DANGER GAME! This is the type of match we absolutely have to win if we are serious about making the finals. The team has definitely shown improvement over the course of the year, however they remain inconsistent on a week to week basis.

We are walking the finals tight rope, its great to be in the contest and now its up to the team to show they deserve to be there come the end of round 25.

Our finals run begins in this game...
Lewis is a gun and DWZ is on fire.

We need to really deliver because in our next few final games - this one and Manly are the harder ones.

@Demps people were saying no loss that we missed on DWZ... He is killing it at dogs from the back and can only imagine what he would of done for us.

Manly scum.... brings a smile to my face knowing we smashed them early on

The dogs scrapped home against an impotent Panthers last week. Also, DWZ was out to prove a point.

This week's game is ripe for the taking but it's so gonna come down to attitude.

Good test for the supporters to see if the team is actually starting to change away from being a soft underbelly team.

Need to win comprehensively again here. We're only in the 8 because Penrith has a worse F/A so we need to keep winning, and well.

No excuses to be losing to Canterbury now. Four forwards on the bench and coming off two wins. We need to put the knife in.
