Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

Let's be honest unless the Sharks have a shocker and beat themselves we're no chance of beating them no matter how we rearrange the furniture.

We just don't have enough points in us, we'll battle away and be competitive but just don't have another gear.

The bus done. I can’t believe IC can be this silly. There has to be something behind these bonehead selections.

So I guess 2018 is a rebuilding year…again.

This is a loose loose selection. If we some how jag a win we still loose as this type of player use will be justified and will be trotted out again. Might be better (in the long run) to get trounced this week and it will have to force change. Well you’d hope so anyways.

Everyone wants changes but what do we bring in:

Liddle, Sue and Nofoaluma are injured

Which leaves McQueen, Felise and McIlwrick. Who are all out of favour for one reason or another.

Of the reserve players, people were questioning Rochow before he got injured.

Godinet could come into hooker but it leaves our pack light. At least Taylor can drop back to the back row.

I’d like Naiqama at fullback but I think he is primarily a centre in Ivan’s eyes. People have suggested wing but is a Thompson, Naiqama, MWZ back 3 much different to Lolohea, MWZ, Thompson?

Gamble is a 5/8 and we already have two in the team.

I get people see our season slipping away but we need to be realistic with what we expect them to name.

Early season accountability gone. What a joke. Ivan deserves to get whacked by 50.

Little effort by the coach …needed to get to Melbourne, obviously this is as good as it gets for the remainder of 2018 ...

Wake up you pair of fools, obliviously its gone over your empty heads the amount of work Ivan Cleary has put into the revival of the Tigers as a team and a brand.

What would you expect the team was beaten by 2 points and competed until the 80th minute last Sunday.
"Sirro", do you ever have anything to say that is positive, your constant whinging is childlike to put it mildly.

Ivan doesn't like to make to many changes in 1 week.

I think there would of been a different change if Nofa didn't get injured.

Not much else to choose from.

Let's face it we have been playing above expectations as it is

Rebuilding takes time

You can't force players to come to the club

IC is doing the best he can with the players he was able to attract to the club

We just need to keep adding quality where we can

We do have some good youngsters as well that only improve and seem committed to the club

I know it's not ideal watching the team struggling again after a strong start but I'm sure we will more good wins coming our way this year and stronger teams in the future

Let's just give IC the chance he deserves

He is doing his best

The hooking role is the only real issue.

I genuinely expect changes. I expect Reynolds has to start.

Maybe even Gamble to 14 in place of whoever is outed when Taylor goes back to the back row.

I think we'll do alright. If not for a few unfortunate moments and some awful refereeing, we would've won last week.

I actually thought Taylor's service, apart from the occasional howler, was better last week.

Reynolds is gaining match fitness and should be able to play 50 odd this week. We won't need to bring him on early as we did last week in the case of Nofa's injury hopefully, or at least not have to reshuffle as we did to accomodate him. You could argue the first try we conceded and the last which Thompson nearly scored would've had the opposite result if Nofoaluma was on the field.

The major concern is how off the pace Lolohea is. I'd actually give Kev a run there, he looked good for Fiji at the back and offers a lot more pace than Lolohea does running it back. It's not like Kev is unskilled either, he's got the ability to throw a pass too so it probably won't stifle our backline movements the way Thompson did.

How come Mbye is not playing and Tim Grant at the Knights..

Did not expect any changes. I think the plan will be to rejig thinks a bit after the Sharks game. It will give Liddle another few weeks to recover, maybe some time to introduce MM to the team if he decides to jump ship also time to introduce any players from the lower grade that might get a call up
