It would be shocking to lose this one. Their forward pack has wooden spoon written all over it. Aside from Arrow the strike they have is Fotuaika and he'd be coming off the bench at most clubs if only because he's so young.

And then the rest. Seriously, try to guess who is starting and on the bench. I've done easier sudoku puzzles: Sam Lisone, Kev Proctor, Erin Clark, Keegan Hipgrave, Tanah Boyd, Cartwright and Jaimin Joliffe.

Complacency could get us but I don't see much else stopping us.

Its called bad Ju Ju by people putting down the opposition and having unrealistic expectations of a 30+ win.

You say nothing, expect nothing and then......

...Wallop

If we are serious finals contenders we would be winning by a good 20 points or more

That’s not what tigers usually Do so expecting a close game. Would take a 1 point win if need be as long as we are winning I’m happy

Marshall goal kicking against titans courtesy of Benji on NRL360.

Well I hope is he doing plenty of practice, because Saturdays effort was unexceptable

I'm still concerned about the bench. It almost let us down against the Sharks. We lost all momentum when Aloiai and Mikaele came off and I still don't see any balance in that bench. Seyfarth for mine wasn't bad enough to lose his spot, but I don't think he did enough to retain it.

We can't underestimate the Titans as they've had the wood on us the last few years and they've still got some sizeable and handy forwards. I fear this bench is going to cost us.

Which is why I wrote the post questioning Musgrove’s omission. We need his aggression at the 20-25 minute mark. Maybe his defence is too loose??

I'd wager he came back from isolation a bit on the heavy side and Seyfarth ripped into training. I'd prefer to see a prop rotation that balances Aggression and work rate. I'm not sure what the reason is, but I'm sure it will bring us undone at some point.

Mate against the top side’s will come undone anyway,no matter what our bench rotation is

Every time we play a lower team all we hear on this forum is by HOW MANY..... And as we all know we generally lose or scrap home by a small margin..

I think its time we actually took our team for what it is or has been for the last 10 years... Average and until we make the 8 at least once we should not be taking any games for granted..

for me I would take a win by any margin and will have my fingers crossed

When you see the abysmal side the Titans have named, it’s hard not for your eyes to light up. You have a point, but it’s important to draw a happy medium. Don’t get cocky, assuming we will win 30+, but at the same time, it’s stupid being all doom and gloom based on the past.

I do find this an interesting sentiment and I've had it in the past many, many times.....

If the roosters only beat them by 4 does it dent their chances????

I only just twigged it, and I know the skill of both squads is chalk and cheese.....but cellar dwellars can get up for these games and play great spoilers......

I have the feeling that there will be very few boil overs this year. I think with the new rules, shortened season and no mid season SOO series will see the good sides turning up to play every week. So games like this week are so important you win and win well for the for and against. Things look on the up for us, but I just can’t see us beating teams like Manly,Easts,Canberra and probably the Eels. Of course that could all change in a few weeks.
Anyway for the record I think we will win and reasonably well

Is Elijah Taylor injured?
Thought he would have been an asset with the 6 again rules.

Not selected - his best asset is slowing down the ruck, he would probably give away a lot of 6 agains. Twal is a great player to have at lock. Taylor could play on the bench

And there will also be a day when you don't complain about the complainers giving their opinion

Not holding my breath

Yes good idea..hold your breath..

The way you two carry on you should be holding hands
As Husband and wife
You two are like an old couple who can't stand each other but still manage to love each other
We can all see what's going on

You know
What the Roosters and Melbourne seem to buy at the end of the year

I am worried, in that first half against Sharks, we capitulated when we brought on the bench forwards. On the bench forwards only Clarke looked decent, and Walters looked good when he came on late 2nd half. There should of been one or two changes made on the bench. Hopefully it will happen before the game.

Bench has to change IMO. Really added nothing, and yes I know it's hard to make changes to a winning side.

Hopefully a late switch or two.

Don’t like Walters? He added a lot.

I'm not sure I understand what 'ju ju' is or why I should be scared of something that sounds like a noise my 2 year old makes. But I think what you're saying is, talk up the Tigers? Tigers by 40+ it is.

If we don’t beat titans by 30+ we should be embarrassed. More nervous for this game than last week, we have a knack of losing these ones.

We are better than them everywhere in the park and with a classy looking spine we should take this one easily

Better to be happy than embarrassed I guess

Under this new rule we probable have seen the last of Taylor unless desperate times with injury come about !
His repeated ruck penalties will see to that .

Huh? Loved Walters, he was the only good on the bench.

I'm saying we need more impact off it.

MCK with the new rules has to come in for Lawrence, he'll add something for us off the bench. Musgrove also, for Seyfarth.

Nope even then Gibbs should have started ahead of Laffranchi...
