Chee-Kam and Thompson drop out of the 21

ABC Grandstand were making a huge deal about Thompson on the outer at the WT's just before the Manly v Eels game

Slow news day.

Well .. it was weird ...Moore really rates him as did some fans from other clubs ...and the WT's fans were very split as well

It was never going to be easy to replace Teddy. Papenhuyzen had already gone to Melb. No juniors within the club were ready. Lolohea was not in condition for NRL. Corey did a great in giving us a competent option at fullback. Often he was one of our top three players and could find his way to the try line.
He is too good for State Cup. However, the fullback role is one of the most important positions on the field. You need a top tier player at fullback. I'd like Cory to continue to play for the WestsTigers but if Doueihi holds the fullback position Corey will be getting limited NRL time. I don't think many WTs fans want Corey to go but would understand if he did.

The guy puts his balls on the line for us when he gets a game ...and that is why we love him

**But when you compare him to Trbojevic, Tedesco , RTS ,Ponga you understand why we need to upgrade him**

Wow..you don't say...compare any of our fullback options to those guys and they all need an upgrade..Captain Obvious

But the best thing is our options play for us..and Thompson plays with more heart than most of those other glory boys..looking at you Pongo...if he goes you won't get an elite player to replace him..a player with just as much heart who gives everything every time he pulls on our jersey will do..

No surprises with the team lineup, the only thing I can think of with regard to Musgrave is that he's been told to work on his fitness if he wants to force his way back into the 17. I definitely think we'll see him again but Madge is preferring fitness and mobility over size with the new rules.

From what I've heard, he's a very good trainer but a bit of a slow learner. Just as he was getting it, Madge has tweaked things for the re start and he's not quite up to speed. No reggies is the worst case as he won't get the game time to work it out.

Will Reynolds be replacing Marshall in RD 5 still...asking for Supercoach purposes..
