Wests Tigers have released the following statement regarding Michael Chee Kam.

On Wednesday, April 24, Chee Kam appeared in Waverley Local Court and pled guilty to the charge of common assault.

Due to this, Michael will be stood down for Wests Tigers’ Round 7 game against the Gold Coast Titans.

Wests Tigers is working closely with the NRL Integrity Unit and will not make any further comment on the matter until the process is finalised next week.

Now I'm worried

Couldn't be any worse! At least he'll give it his best.

Can we bring someone in from outside the 19?

No as there are players in reserves that cover his position

Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Gold Coast Titans for their Round 7 clash at Scully Park in Tamworth tomorrow.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:30pm AEST as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from a heavy defeat to the Parramatta Eels and stay in touch with the top eight.

After undergoing the necessary concussion protocols throughout the week, Robbie Farah has been cleared to play and will start Saturday’s game at hooker in a boost for the side, but Luke Garner has been ruled out and did not travel with the team.

Elijah Taylor comes in to the side as his replacement in the back row, while David Nofoaluma also drops out of the 21-man squad named earlier in the week.

Paul Momirovski and Chris McQueen remain in the squad as reserves and have travelled as part of a 19-man Wests Tigers squad to Tamworth on Friday.

Gold Coast remain unchanged as Garth Brennan's side gun for a third straight win.

Final team lists for both sides will be confirmed one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow.

@Tiger_Steve If Todd allows it you can. We would have a case because I assume it was pushed by the integrity unit.

Well that’s the end of that.

Yeah, they'll do enough to get us really into the game, on the edge of our seats, then rip our hearts out in the last 5.
