The manly backline looked great last week, we need a specialist centre in there.
Joey needs to be centre this week, Chee Kam has played well in reserves but selecting him in the centres takes me back to the ridiculous days when Kyle Lovett was thrown into the centres as a stop gap and we had to watch him stretch and stumble as opposing centres zipped around him.
When Hoffman made his debut in the wing (unfortunately for him outside Mbye) I didn’t want to see him again! but he has built up and playing really well in the centres so if not Joey I would have had Hoffman - not Chee Kam, our forwards are clogging our backline moves already without another one.
Hoffman hasn't been very good to my eye. What are you seeing? He's jagged a few lucky tries but he looks very plodtastic to me. Also looks to be playing hurt.

Or, have Souths already done that?

I think the cowboys did mate . That second half was like the team received a lobotomy at halftime.
And in the end , it was some goal kicking misses and a dud call that stopped us pulling off a miracle .
Then we matched it with a full strength , in form , Souths team , only to once again cop some “non calls “ like why we didn’t get an 8 point try for the Lattrell hit on nofa . It’s good enough for 4 weeks but not a penalty at the time . Or even the kick out that would have shifted momentum At a crucial time .
If we turn up with the same 123 minutes of intensity , we’ve just come off , I think manly are in for some trouble . That Titans game was a huge drop in intensity for a first grade game . And manly pounced .

We are setup for a big loss
Played great week before = we never back up
Playing against a team thats been utter rubbish except for 1 game = we normally get walked over
Dynamic roving fullback = cut up in the middle & right edge
Player on the other team who dogged us & has been ordinary all year = their team lifts and the player has best game of the year.
If we buck the trend and actually back up from last week we win.... if only it was that simple for us Tigers fans.

Manly are full with confidence after last weeks performance. I'm not sure how we're gonna turn up after the heartbreaking loss with battered and bruised bodies after last week.

Manly has won 2 in a row and Cows now won 3.
Doesn’t matter how they win, a win is a win.
If we can just nab a win against Manly our season may kick start with the run over the next few weeks.
