I would have Amone over Seyfarth and BJ in for chee kam. The manly backline looked great last week, we need a specialist centre in there.

Joey needs to be centre this week, Chee Kam has played well in reserves but selecting him in the centres takes me back to the ridiculous days when Kyle Lovett was thrown into the centres as a stop gap and we had to watch him stretch and stumble as opposing centres zipped around him.
When Hoffman made his debut in the wing (unfortunately for him outside Mbye) I didn’t want to see him again! but he has built up and playing really well in the centres so if not Joey I would have had Hoffman - not Chee Kam, our forwards are clogging our backline moves already without another one.

Hoffman hasn't been very good to my eye. What are you seeing? He's jagged a few lucky tries but he looks very plodtastic to me. Also looks to be playing hurt.

I’m seeing something different to you, let’s see how he goes tomorrow

Ah what I would give to be coming 9th now

I hate these games.
We are setup for a big loss
Played great week before = we never back up
Playing against a team thats been utter rubbish except for 1 game = we normally get walked over
Dynamic roving fullback = cut up in the middle & right edge
Player on the other team who dogged us & has been ordinary all year = their team lifts and the player has best game of the year.

If we buck the trend and actually back up from last week we win.... if only it was that simple for us Tigers fans.

The Tigers played Cowboys into form, Manly could do the same for Tigers.
Or, have Souths already done that?

I think the cowboys did mate . That second half was like the team received a lobotomy at halftime.
And in the end , it was some goal kicking misses and a dud call that stopped us pulling off a miracle .
Then we matched it with a full strength , in form , Souths team , only to once again cop some “non calls “ like why we didn’t get an 8 point try for the Lattrell hit on nofa . It’s good enough for 4 weeks but not a penalty at the time . Or even the kick out that would have shifted momentum At a crucial time .

If we turn up with the same 123 minutes of intensity , we’ve just come off , I think manly are in for some trouble . That Titans game was a huge drop in intensity for a first grade game . And manly pounced .

Yes, it must be quite sobering to be booed off the paddock at oranges

Manly are full with confidence after last weeks performance. I'm not sure how we're gonna turn up after the heartbreaking loss with battered and bruised bodies after last week.

Every team is 1 win from finding form so far this year.

Manly has won 2 in a row and Cows now won 3.

Doesn’t matter how they win, a win is a win.

If we can just nab a win against Manly our season may kick start with the run over the next few weeks.

If we can find a win today it could set us up to go on a run we have some really winnable games comming up

Looks like we will be 1-17 with Joey and Mikaele both confirmed to play reserve grade. Blore confirmed to play his first game of the year off the bench

I agree, it doesn't have to be a good a win or a big win but just a win .
I don't think manly are good enough to win 3 in a row.

I sure hope the players don’t read any of these posts 😂
You guys are so down about a game before the ball is in play. There’s a reason why coaches want a fast start and it has a lot to do with the self fulfilling prophecy. Prepare well, believe in yourself and above all, believe in others to get the job done.

Get on them if you think we will win ...gamble madly ...I mean irresponsibly .....just win

That try is still the most awkward looking try I’ve seen ??

Not a knock on him but he genuinely looked as confused as anyone else on the paddock that he broke through lol
