Backup comes from your pacemen/backs. Laurie, Roberts, To'a ect, they should be there after every possible break.
Once again we don't have the smarts and physicality as most opposition backs have.
In my last post I was referring mainly to our attack in the red zone. We need to get better. We should never find ourselves in a "what do we now on the 5th tackle" situation. Everyone must be on the same page and compete.
I'm sure we would have addressed this during training.
If the team does everything right and win then Madge would have read all our posts and we are geniuses.
If they don't, we can hold our heads up high and say "We told you so" 🤣

Like him or not, he and To'a look to be the only attacking threats we have in open play.
I do agree he's sus in D, especially when marking up.
Put your hate to one side for a second.
Give me your opinion, who would you put at fullback and on the wing between To'a and Noffa.
 
Nofo out is a loss period. Round 7 he made NRLteam of the week
Compare stats to "other winger" in Round 8 he had more runs ,more meters and less errors and a very high 10 offloads .also more tackles. Admittedly not his best game but entire backline clunky.I assume the concussion was when
Molo hit him high and went on report but no charge?.
 
Noffa can get us going with his energy as does Lucy, both are going to missed big time.
I'm looking forward to seeing Simpkins play, he and Hastings play well together and this is because Jacko gives him confidence. It will be a good spine if Laurie can get fit and firing.

Love his finishing these days, real classy.

Some of his recent tries would not have been scored by most wingers.

Admit to defense and attitude issues in the past, but his heart was always with the club and probably felt entitled due to his loyalty.

But the club's investment in him is paying off now.

Huge loss this weekend.
 
Some punch back up front with Stef coming back and Simpkin back into the team. Peachey, while he hasn't set the world on fire, I would back him to do more in the ten minutes that Madge seems to afford to the #14 than a Jock Madden, be it negative or positive.

Still a spare parts back 5. In absolute ruin there.
