Wests Tigers Team v Newcastle

@boonboon Yeah I only found it the other day when researching the Long serving player allowance. It is on the NRL Operations website.

@hobbo1 And Packer he had better game than Chris Mcqueen and gets ignored.

McQueen was absolutely bog average... hope he doesn't get a run. Packer I thought would have been OK off the bench for this one...

@cochise When is this nonsense going to be put into perspective.
They are cap exempt. BIG DEAL
So who makes up the difference on their contracts payments THE CLUB DOES.
That might be alright for richer clubs, but the Tigers ain't one of them.

Marsters has been the biggest underperformer this season. Plenty of games where he hasn't looked interested at all. If anyone deserves a kick up the backside and a stint in reggies it's him. I don't know why people keep saying he'll make a good backrower. He has the body for it, but not the mentality.

@Tigers17 They are not all cap exempt, its $200k across the entire squad, so its only an extra $200k to find. We were also one of the few clubs that made a profit last year!

@Fraze23 For mine there has not been improvement this year. He is doing his job but as with most of our forwards no aggression and not exactly bending the line.
Perhaps good for him to see where he’s at.
No one should be guaranteed a position in this squad.

Eisenhuth a regular starter not in 17 the more significant omission than ET who has struggled to get selected. I thought ET had been going alright too off the bench - adds a bit of energy.

NRL.com had this about Eisenhuth in the team list page...

Matt Eisenhuth, who was involved in a nasty head clash last weekend, has been namd as a reserve

@momo_amp_medo you know what I mean .... he goes to the opposing line in kinda soft shoe shuffle, often backing into the tackles as if wanting a cuddle. There is always a remote possibility that he may promote second phase and pass the ball ... but sadly never does. Slow play the ball. Then wanders aimlessly shuffling following the play.
Boy ...!!

G'day @Fraze23: my guess is Madge is doing it to give others a go to see how they handle things. He knows full well what Twal has to offer, cheers.

Starting prop who has failed to run for more then 100m 9 times out of 17 games this year despite playing an ave of 57 minutes a game.

Not exactly setting the world on fire

Klemmer who is prob the benchmark and his opposition this week plays about the same minutes and has only made less then 140m once all year

Clarke averages 135 meters in NSW cup
