Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has named his 21-man squad to take on the Parramatta Eels for their Round 11 clash this Thursday at Bankwest Stadium.

After a dominant 48-0 win over the Brisbane Broncos in Round 10, Maguire has named a similar squad for Thursday’s clash with Billy Walters and Benji Marshall named in the halves and Luke Brooks on the bench.

The only change to the team is that of Luke Garner, who has been ruled out of the match after failing concussion protocols for this week’s six-day turnaround.

He is replaced in the run-on side by Michael Chee Kam, with rookie forward Alex Seyfarth coming in to the squad as a reserve.

Wests Tigers hooker Harry Grant is cleared to play after he returned a negative result for a standard COVID-19 test on Tuesday.

Wests Tigers will provide an updated 19-man team list on Wednesday night, with final team lists to be confirmed one hour prior to kickoff (6:50pm, Thursday).

1 Adam Doueihi
2 David Nofoaluma
3 Chris Lawrence
4 Moses Mbye
5 Tommy Talau

6 Billy Walters
7 Benji Marshall

8 Josh Aloiai
9 Harry Grant
10 Russell Packer
11 Luciano Leilua
12Micheal Chee-Kam
13 Matt Eisenhuth

14 Sam McIntyre
15 Thomas Mikaele
16 Luke Brooks
17 Chris McQueen

18 Oliver Clark
19 Elijah Taylor
20 Shawn Blore
21 Alex Seyfarth

Maybe switch Rowdy back to the MCK's spot ...but then who plays in the centres ....they'll be marking Jennings and he still runs a great line

I would move Sam into the 12
Omit MCK and McQueen
Bench of
Mikaele
Brooks
Clark/Blore
Taylor
We need Packer and Aloai to fire up front
And a big game from Mikaele and McIntyre
LL will be great again
And Eisenhuth will be solid
Lawrence will play well in the centres
My only worry is Nofoaluma up against Sivo but with Lawrence next to him we may have him covered
I think we will go ok in this one
We have players out injured but those playing will want to keep their spot in the team

Mikaele is injured

Mikaele injured and Taylor not named in the 21.

Far out! Was really hoping we were going to be close to full strength in forwards for this one. Now Twal, Musgrove, Mikaele and Garner all missing.
I wish him well but I have no faith in Chee Kam at all. Hope he is fully focussed because if he’s not he’s in for a long long night

I think Packer needs to start. Bring Blore onto the bench. One of MCK or McQueen drops out.

Drop Brooks of the bench
Keep both Mck and McQueen

The lack of grunt coming off the bench is what will really hurt us. I think we can stick with them early but their bench is superior to ours and I'd be dropping Brooks out of this one. A halfback coming on when we're down by 30 won't help. We need as much size as we can muster. This is one of those games where I really feel the Eels will just pulverise us through the middle.

Forfeit the game. No more injuries, better for our for/against, no more injuries for next weeks game where we have a chance.

I am sure the broadcast contract would have one hell of a penalty though

Only people that could come in are Seyfarth or Blore. A rookie or a guy that didn’t really perform for us. So many injuries to our pack this week it’s killing us.

Apart from Niukore (he’s a beast) the Parra bench isn’t that intimidating. As we all know Stef gets about 10 minutes, Davey is a journeyman who is only getting a gig because Stone and Kaufusi are out and Taks is generally average who we seem to make look like a superstar for some reason.

Their starting pack however is a different beast

Once again, people on twitter claiming that Blore will make his debut this week hearing it off a friend of Blores. Mind you he said the same a few weeks ago and it didn’t end up being true 😂

I don’t know anything about Blore, is he any good? Is his inexperience really a better option than MCK or McQueen against the Eels giant pack, even allowing for their shortcomings?

I’ve not seen much of him. He’s very big and plays with aggression but not sure how good his motor is especially considering he’s not played a long time with an ACL injury.

He captained Penrith and the NSW U18’s to victories and they rated him very highly. Would’ve played first grade last year if not injured apparently
