On the plus side, it's getting towards last chance saloon for some of these players. Playing for contracts, for their footballing futures.

If they can't bust their asses this week…. better start acquainting themselves with their local centrelink

What people expect is a coach that will go the the lower grade and motivate someone like many of the other coaches do… Melbourne have many pulled out from the hat.. Desy gets a few .This separate's the winning coaches from the losers the line trotted out about look who is out is lame as the real winners do not ACCEPT this,one day this club might have a coach that does not take mediocrity easy and is a winner we all can only hope!!!

We have shown no intentions of dropping players or bringing players in for next year

I don't mind him.
He's tough and pretty good in defence.

Gives away too many penalties for mine, but easily fixed if he wants to work on his discipline.

I was thinking about this today. I think half the issue is that we have so many young guys who are in the side purely because we have no other option/cap space. Instead of spending 2 years working their asses off waiting for a chance they are thrown in the deep end.
They come into a struggling side and they just get swamped.

It's all very well to say "we are focusing on our juniors" but you need some class there to steer the ship. ATM our experienced guys are a busted hooker who has lost form, a winger, a centre/second rower and a bench utility. Hardly key position players apart from Farah and you could argue all are in pretty poor form.

I dont think it has anything to do with the current coach. I'm pretty sure if we had Cronk, Smith, Slater and Bromwich it would be much easier to bring the young guys in and get them up to speed. But really who is setting those standards at the Tigers?

Yep we can partition JT off from the team - things might improve if they can't see or hear him.
