Wests Tigers Team v Parramatta..

I'd be mildly amused if there was a head clash between Moses and Matterson sending them both to a HIA from which they don't return.

On the first tackle would be like a golden egg...

All I want tomorrow is that we remain competitive and not to get flogged again.. Nothing worse then watching them carry on like pork chops and whinging at the refs ALL game.. They need to make a statue outside of the stadium for them of a player just standing there with his arms in the air as that the most common sight when they play..

We need to be aggressive and have great ball handling as they seem to struggle when teams do this..

Not sure if it has been mentioned but foxnrl are showing the CC match before the main game tomorrow I think it starts around 1-1:30 for those interested

After a good week of training, Maguire has confirmed an unchanged lineup for the game with Alex Seyfarth and Joey Leilua dropping out of the squad. Both players will feature for the Western Suburbs Magpies in their Knock On Effect Cup clash against Parramatta, which will be played as a curtain-raiser on Monday.

Russell Packer and Michael Chee Kam remain in the squad.

Radley is bog average at hooker. Only played there due to injuries most of the time. His service is sucky

Victor rarely is a lock

Packer could be useful.

Can't change a winning side I guess

We weren't outstanding v the Knights ...got the 2 points I guess...just hoping Parra are the 1st side to test out the new 3 Hia'S

4 Hia's would be better.

I'll nominate Son of a Mitch, What's the Matter Son, Queen Gutho and My neck hurts Sivo.

Some nuffie 18th man comes on and we make him an instant immortal.

When Nathan Brown decides to do one of his big runs off the back fence (and he will use this opportunity while Blore is out), who do we think will smash him?
I'd like to think Zane the Muss would put him in hospital.

Save it for Matterson

Why can't he have both?

He played lock today and Friend was out, if he was a hooker he would have played there

It was good to see the ball get out to the Jet in the second half against Newy. There were signs of frustration from Jet as he was trying to get into the game during the first half. Madge may have pressed the point at half time for the side to open the right-side field up and set-up for those shifts as they became more frequent. The shape and ball work was a bit clunky but these shifts still gave Jet some time and space to challenge his opposite.

Opening the field up for Jet is a key strategy for the season ahead. Opponents have to mark him closely, and this creates opportunities elsewhere for our side to exploit such as short balls on the edge or the cut out pass to Nofa. It also opens up space and opportunities for Laurie. You could see how closely Jet was marked when Laurie swept around the back creating a two-on-one to put Nofa over. Really underlines the value of the blinding acceleration, top speed and footwork of the Jet. Roberts will fancy his chances against Opacic, and Arthur will be alert to the treat, it’ll interesting to see how the tactics play out.

No chance of that happening. 18th man rule doesn’t come into play until next round.

2. kepoea played a solid game except for those 2 mistakes. He’s 3rd highest in our team for Meters per game. He does a lot of important carries out of trouble that goes unnoticed. Also playing with an injured knee. He will only get better with more games.

So over this take. I don't care if his early set carries are good if he drops the ball every time it goes to him on the wing. He was so close to literally handing the game to the Knights on Sunday

If you think he dropped the ball every time it was passed to him, you didn't watch the game. I finished watching it for the second time last night and I think he dropped it twice - once the pass was almost behind him. Someone else said, every time he kicks it out - how many times has he kicked it. On second viewing I thought he was no where near as bad as people are making out on here. Not making excuses but he has potential and is improving every game. Remember he is not a winger (he is a centre come FB) but he is better than anyone else we have to put there. The people on here wanting to put Mbye in the centre, Talau on the wing are basically wanting this to be able to put Simpkin on the bench.

Too many want to make AJ the whipping Boy - even when we win.

This aged well
