WESTS Tigers Team V Roosters...

so we have farah (who apparently needs to be rested), ballin (who had a banged up knee already), manai cherrington (who has apparently signed for penrith) and halatau (who has probably started at hooker in more than half the games) and JT decides to go with a guy who's given us so much value with his at line ball passing.

idk if it's JT"s fault or what it is, these many disruptions just cannot be good. so angry.

You would be even angrier if you read that JAC has been signed by Storm as reported today in Zero Tackle.

it's all about prep, i just can't imagine having any good prep with these many disruptions and late withdrawls.

IF and it's a big IF JT is not playing farah due to their precious egos, i hope they both get the boot. you can't risk not playing your best hooker over something silly like this.

I imagine in this weather you would take more precautions with injuries then normal especially something like a knee injury could go so easily if its not 100%.

As someone else said won't be much ball play and ET has played a few games for Panthers at hooker so solid selection and gives our bench 4 forwards which we will need given the conditions but still covers the backs with Chee-Kam

i was hoping all this farah not playing, simona injured, playing pulling out of state cup was all smokes and mirror and we'd go with our strongest 17 at the end.

it's not official :frowning:
zerotackle post rumour nonsense often.
i hope it's not true 😛ray:

As already pointed out, i don't know why you would expect ET to play the same role today, going to the line and passing in these conditions.

Who's to say we haven't trained this way all week?

I have been one of the blokes bagging Farah, but if he was fit, I would have started with Halatau at hooker, ET lock. Lovett/MCK, Farah, Felise & Sau on the bench.

Not a bad selection given weather. Today won't be one for the ballplayers and so ET's linking play won't be as useful as it has been in other weeks.

We also have Teddy back, he often plays like a 3rd playmaker

Aw man we need this win so much. I'm more worried about our conversions. Due to the weather I think this game is going to be very close and will come down to penalties goals, conversions etc. I just hope Moses has been practicing his tail off.
Could be another field goal special!

I'm beginning to think this would have been a perfect game for Farah to play.
Unfortunately we didn't know the conditions would be so bad.
It won't be a fast game that's for sure
Another kicking option other than Mitch & Luke would be nice… Could be crucial

Relax, JT obviously has a plan.
He clearly wants to tighten up the middle for the first part of the game.

JT has a plan?
I feel better than ever now

Was that the plan. Play arguably our best player in a completely different position, not even have the SOO hooker at all , and when he finally come to his senses, and moved ET back to where he has made a difference for us, then play Halatau sadly no longer up to it, at hooker.
I said before the game that this could blow up on him and it has.
I hope that notice was taken of this incompetent game plan.
