I was only basing it on 3-4 games I've seen of him. I don't care who it is. As long as he can play 80 and pass quickly and accurately.

Who am i to question Ivan, but I will anyway. I really think he has done the wrong thing by Liddle. His confidence is shattered. See him shaking his head in the change room at half time, he looked very down.

When have you seen an unproven kid thrown into the middle straight after 2 major injuries? It never happens. Jacob needed to be brought along slowly. IMO Cleary has set Jacob's progress way back. I'm sure he will get through it, but it's going to take time. Poor player management by Cleary on this I think. The proof of that is in the young fella's performance and demeanor.

We need to take a step back from worrying about week to week results and focus on the long term. We have to struggle through with whatever we can at 9 while Liddle takes time off to get over his little niggling injuries, then come back through ISP. I believe we will reap the rewards of this in the last 6 weeks of the comp and then next year.

Ivans using up all the goodwill he earnt at the start of the season with these selections. Fully expect a “kick cleary” thread soon if these guys don’t show us whatever it is he sees
 
Big fan of Liddle and not too worried about where he's at. Ivan has played him very limited minutes, so he has hardly been thrown in the deep end. When he's on our attack is so much better.

It's hard to go out in the market for a hooker to play a bit-part while we develop Liddle. You're not going to get anyone much better than MM or Godinet willing to play second fiddle.

Maybe when he stops winning us matches. A certain pearler of a pass that got us back in the game against the dogs comes to mind.
 
No surprises with the squad named. They will need to start better than last week to give themselves a chance though.

We're just going to have to tough it out while Liddle gets back on track.
Personally think Eiso is an improvement on ET at lock too.

at least a month, grub needs game time to be able to play 80 mins. plus he may not get it back if we to continue winning would u change a winning line up.
