Let's see genius, he dropped Talau last week, who wasn't performing consistently. He's already dropped Clark and Seyfarth. Look at the four guys on the extended bench: they weren't performing consistently which is why they were dropped. But, please, tell us who should he drop out of a winning team and which loser should he replace them with?

oh and dropping talau just cause hes not on as much as bj who can make all the mistakes in the world and not get dropped ????
and theres nothing wrong with clarke he hits hard and defends well there is far worse on that bench

big test for Twal/Mikaele/Aloiai

Not a good game for them last week and need to show us that they're the starting middle forwards for next year.

Aloiai could be a similar story as Tedesco/Woods, he carries all of our forwards like a kangaroo, every game, season after season. No help from anyone!
I could not blame him once he realises, I can go to another club where I will not be responsible for every run, in every game!

We were awful last weekend, got totally dominated and the coach should be furious that we were so poor. Pack annihilated, defence atrocious. Halves largely hopeless.

10 mins where Manly were massively down on troops sways his decisions. Weak.

lol yeah most people describe Michael Maguire as weak. They say that's his fatal flaw. That he's weak.

And that he never gets upset with the team. That he lacks passion. That's how people typically describe him.

You obviously didn’t see the game (was it the Warriors game) the other week where he was seen at Half time stripping paint of the shed wall and showing a seat a thing or two?

I’ve never heard of him being described as “as weak”.

I'm with you. No one, at least I thought no one, would think that. Read the comments above me where the poster calls him "weak" and that the coach "should be furious".

Spare us all. He doesn't win, he gets crucified. To win he needs to play the best players even though they're underperforming. But by doing that he gets criticised for not dropping those underperformers.

Who should he drop? Who should replace them?

So you're saying drop BJ for Talau? BJ for Jennings? BJ for Lawrence? BJ for Asu? No one would do that.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with Clark (btw he's rumoured to be leaving. Should Maguire still play him?). But who on the bench is worse than him? McIntyre? Eisenhuth? ET? Liddle?

His support play was brilliant - passing then wrapping around to make the extra man.

The attack looked like it went up in intensity in those last 12 minutes because of it.

Inspired coaching .....these blokes are certainly walking on eggshells

Yes, here’s a guy who is happy to play any position on the field and play it well, because he is a competitor. How does Madge bring out that sort of desire to compete in Brooks? For 7 seasons playing in the same position and still regarded by a journo recently as being an emerging player.
