Doueihi in the centres is disappointing. Particularly when Momirovski is named in the squad. Hopefully common sense prevails and Thompson finds himself on the wing. Shifting Doueihi from position to position is a mistake.

Would expect a 1-5 reshuffle if Momorovski is ready to play. Jennings to CC, AD to fullback and Thommo on the flank.

You'd reckon the trade is off if it wasn't approved the first time around.....
Momorovski will come in if fit, goalkicker options are anorexic as it is.

Clearly Madge is picking off pre season form more than anything. ET earned a spot due to his good showings in the trial game, while MCK didn’t really do much in our trials while Lawrence looked solid.

Doueihi at centre will be a temporary thing wouldn’t expect it to last more than a few weeks even if we are winning. Once Mbye is back it’ll change.

Mikaele and Musgrove coming in against tired defence will be fantastic. Hopefully Reynolds keeps his form from the warriors trial and can have an impact too.

Overall I like the team but there will be changes in the coming weeks I expect

Not sure about Lawrence in the 17, offers nothing in attack, would have liked MCK who has that X factor about him.

You've missed him running into holes off Brooks I see

Unfortunately the ball bounces out of his hands in about 50% of those occasions. Hopefully he's handling has improved over the off season, otherwise yes he runs a good line.

Chris Lawrence is a surprise.
Having said that he played ok against the Warriors and has always been one of the best trainers so if picking the team on preseason form/effort he would be near first picked.

Yep not a noted strong passer especially off the deck

ET would be the only other option there and his passing from DH is no better though. JR will have a solid game after all the garbage he's been through. Carn Tiges!!!!!

One good thing is a lot of spots have capable players nipping at their heals. So if they aren't performing the swap is on. Corey etc. Hope Walters makes 9 his own, certainly showed some promise. Glad he got an opportunity.

short term wise corey @ fullback is ok but i wouldn't want to see him there long term. Rest of the team doesn;t look too bad.

Wouldn;t mind seeing Luciano come off the bench later on in the year. see how he is with impact on tiring forwards

I imagine that Momo isn't right to go then. If that's the way they run out Jennings would want to be on fire because when Momo and/or Mbye is right Doueihi will be at #1 and Thompson will have a flank spot.

Walters will be the key for us, he has a good game and I think we'll do the Dragons in. They have a decent pack but not much in the backs.

Harry Grant has been named on the bench for Melbourne. If the trade was going ahead it would have happened by now.
