Never said I was full of wisdom mate… Just getting sick of the whinging purely based on Taylor hatred.... The bloke had an opportunity to sign with "his beloved tigers" and he went for more cash, too bad so sad. Enjoy reserve grade and let fans watch a bloke who is committed to OUR team.... It's simple really. But really, keep whinging.... It might help change the selection.

So you think Rankin is a better winger than JAC, is your opinion and that is fine, you might think Dene is a starting hooker, that is fine, you may also think JT is a good coach and that is fine if you think that.
My opinion is different, I think Rankin is not an NRL winger, Dene is not an NRL hooker and JT is not a good head coach, and that should be fine too.

Rankin back in on the wing is a terrible decision. Not only is he a poor defender, he is incredibly slow, he is NOT winger at all and provides nothing in attack. For those that say "oh but goalkicking," his goalkicking record is about as bad as Moses. An absolute nothing selection. Not only this but he's been ordinary in state cup, hasn't exactly been knocking on the door. JAC dropped back to state cup few days ago was best on ground.

So what if JAC is leaving us next year. We're still a chance at the 8, so you play your best possible team. Rankin in front of JAC on the wing is madness. Goakicking isn't an excuse as Rankin is a poor goalkicker as well. I'm annoyed.

It's not just the goalkicking issue, pretty much all the points Souths scored had a JAC error in there somewhere, be it failing to defuse the kick, a missed tackle or getting pulled in off his wing and leaving his opposite number unmarked. Souths were rubbish, but still managed to expose all the rookie errors in JAC's game.

Don't think the Storm haven't watched the footage a few times. Smith and Cronk would school the kid hard, and set up about 30 points down that side. Rankin's not the greatest tackler 1 on 1, but he won't make schoolboy errors either.

Considering JAC's last 2 games, maybe this is the "accountability" and "competition for positions" we all asked for.

It's the only thing people find to complain about atm, the irony is something else. Almost as good as when they were applauding Buckets for taking over the selection of the team when we were winning, then blaming Taylor again when we lost.

Professionally speaking mate. Not sentimentally here. The club really hasn't done much for him/to try to keep him. He's been a bit undervalued.

Mate in an ideal world Taylor and Farah leave together, that would be a day of celebration for me, the club could truly move forward then, the Farah verse Taylor circus has diminished both of their credibility in my opinion, and they both should go.

That's a large part of why I would have dropped JAC for this game too. After the Souths game Cronk would've kicked in behind him early and then put him in two minds all night.

I don't understand what Rankin has done to attract rabid hatred. Incredibly slow?

I'm absolutely fine with that although I'd like to see the team coached by Taylor minus Farah, if they both go and this saga ends I'd be happy… Even if it probably is all just media driven.

Wingers don't grow on trees. It's been a massive issue for us since we got rid of Koro. JAC should have been the long term choice but that is how it goes.

We are still paying the price for paying overs and backending contracts in the past
Hes a developing player still, good luck to him getting a good deal at melb, they may be in a position to take that risk, we arent

At some stage you should probably watch them both play a bit rather than just crapping on about stats as though they are the ultimate indicator. JAC positions himself badly in defence.

Rankin: 0.8 errors per game
