WHat is the fascination with Sue in the middle? Why? If he played Edge backrower he would be so much better, he is wasted in the middle. That bench is horrid so much plodding it's not even funny. Here's hoping Cherrington gets onto the bench for Buchanan and Lodge of Keith or Lovett
 
I like the fact that Lawrence is starting at 2nd row & Sue as prop although I'd prefer them both starting in the back row.

Its a shame that Simona is still out but great that Nofo is fit. Also think Hoeter will try his guts out for us.

Surprising that Lodge is 19th man. Really hope our bench ends up something like this:

14 Ava Seumanufagai
15 Keith Galloway
18 Manaia Cherrington
19 Matthew Lodge

Much more impact & balance.

I think Sue is a lot better up the middle.

I actually like that team and despite thinking Taylor is 90% a moron I think his team selections have been pretty good all season. He needs to get rid of Hoeter and Richards if we are going to improve but I'm hopeful that he can see we need some speed out wide.
 
We win games with Sue at second row…. We move him to bench/ prop and lose the forward battles... And games....Yet he never goes back to second row ??????

Funny, I thought everybody was screaming for Rowdy to the backrow and Cherrington to debut…

Yes I agree re Lawrence. Sue Im comfortable with him as prop as I think its a position he will gradually improve on. People complain that we never see changes after losses well it appears there is a change this week with Lodge set to miss out. Shame for Lodge as the guy has the game but he has been woeful the last few weeks. Could be the rocket he needs.
 
Did i miss the meeting why Big Red isn't starting? Is it relegation on form or just to have an experienced FG rep coming in with fresh legs? Or something else?
 
The Ol' girl owes us a win, but she'll have her work cut out with that bench,
As said earlier hopefully Lodge in for Buchannan and Cherington in for Lovette

well, liking Rowdy starting in the 2nd row, not liking Lodge not even in the top 17.

Sauce on the bench I can understand, so we have some experience coming off the bench and to hopefully ensure a better bench rotation, not too sure about Sue starting as prop though. Surely we'd be better with Lodge there?

I don't think those two are what everyone is complaining about.

On the team, while I think Nofo in the centres will be a good move eventually, I actually think Kev plays a lot better in the centres than on the wing. I would change those two around for now and when Simona comes back play him on the wing and then put Nofo in the centre.

Like many others, I hope the bench ends up being Ava, Lodge, Galloway and Cherrington. Lovett and Buchanan have no impact off the bench.

Swap Those two around and I agree 100%. Sironen hasn't put in performances to be a starting second rower. Make him come off the bench and make him prove he deserves it because his stats aren't at all pleasing on the eye. Sue on the edge was dynamic and against the little men would prove a real handful! He was playing some of his best footy there.
