We win games with Sue at second row…. We move him to bench/ prop and lose the forward battles... And games....Yet he never goes back to second row ??????

We have lost plenty with Jesse at backrow also. For differing reasons he is about as effective in each role.

how tf is buchanan ahead of Lodge?

this teams utter crap

I watched the reserve grade game last week and Buchanan was the best forward on the field. He and Santi played quite well. Cherrington did not set the world on fire either.

If the team named is crap in your opinion, name a better one.

Did i miss the meeting why Big Red isn't starting? Is it relegation on form or just to have an experienced FG rep coming in with fresh legs? Or something else?

Likewise Lodge, is there a reason for him being named on the extended bench ? Form or has he done something to get off side with Taylor

On form Sue deserves to start. Lawrence is on trial as a starting backrower. I think this is a great move by Taylor as he can provide defensive support for the halves and also help the rookie centres in defence.

JT foxing I think or not sure about whether injuries will come good bit hard to tell what the team will actually be.

I like this team. Jesse's best form for us was when he played front row. Good on Taylor for mixing things up a bit this week. I also like Lovett and Lodge so I hope it's between Ava, Galloway and Jack to miss out altogether. Ava is a fave of mine so I hope he keeps his spot.

My take,

1 Tedesco
2 Nofoaluma
3 Naiqama
4 Hoeter
5 Richards
6 Moses
7 Brooks
8 Woods
9 Cherrington
19 Seumanufagai
11 Sue
12 Funaki
13 Santi

Interchange
14 Taupau
14 Lodge
15 Galloway
10 Akuaola

I don't think Lodge has earned the the right to keep his position. For a big guy he doesn't make enough ground and tends to run sideways like Fifita. Until he can run straight and with some venom then I think he should bide his time in state cup.

I expect some shuffling of the deck chairs before kick off.

I think the teams ok,I would like to see Cherrington make his FG debut, don't care who misses out,he and Sue have to be there…

The WT front office needs to pull its socks up!. The side was announced on here at 5:02pm…I got an
"exclusive" WT member team release email from the WT at 5:08pm...some exclusive....!!

As I have 0 NRL experience or knowledge I thought I would share my armchair critic thoughts:

- Cherrington needs a run. I don't care if his defense is an abortion, I have faith his attack will make up for it
- Tupau and Sue need to swap. Tupau is a good back rower, but he is a phenomenal prop. From what I have seen Sue has a better motor, less impact but doesn't tire easily. Swap them back, it makes sense.
- Our backline is beyond dogshit without Simona, we need a proven FG right centre ASAP
- Nofo is a winger. He is a winger. He is a winger. I don't know how else to put it.
- Sironen and Lawrence together in the back row is a big risk but it is one we have to take. Sironen and Lawrence have potential to be very very good back rowers but still unproven.

It is clear that we need to sign the following for 2016:
1 Centre
2 Back rowers
1 Bench impact prop

Ive seen enough to think he can make the transition. We need a strong centre more than we need someone who can finish off someone elses work.

Agreed, there is no way in hell Buchanan is a better option than Lodge.

From what i can see the fall guy for our team not being able to score a point is Lodge.

Lodge really ran across field last game hence his punishment.

Nofo was a liability at centre last up as well but i remember him killing it at centre in the u20's team with Koro outside him so there is hope.

Why is there so much hatred? Thought this is the best team we can name. KG hasn't played for about a month or so maybe he is being eased in? Also sue has killed it and JT thought he deserves a starting spot?

I am not really concerned about props as I think we have a lot of them. I also think that our backrow may come good. Our outside backs though need a massive injection of speed. I think we need a new winger and centre on the left side. I think that is the massive priority and everything else is basically way down the list.
