Wests Tigers Team V Warriors * Official

Unfortunately with all the work he did bulking up and building muscle mass, not enough of those muscles were in his ankles.

Or maybe his skinny ankles can’t cope with his heavier body.

Where is our sports science department.

Seeing only probably about 300 people actually saw what happened to Liddle lets give him the benefit of the doubt

Could have been friendly fire for all we know …this is a tough game ...people get injured ...many players have gone on to successful careers after many early injuries ...we had this bloke James someone Voldemort perhaps ... he had a lot of issues early and that bloke named after the battery ....Marshall him as well

Secondly we are worried about the bid outside backs of the Warriors ....simple answer limit the quality ball they get ....pressure on Green and Keighram will help that

We won't roll over and play dead like the Dogs did

**Wests Tigers fullback Moses Mbye has declared himself a near certain starter from a niggling knee injury as he looks to return from injury this Sunday against the New Zealand Warriors.**

The newly-appointed skipper missed his first game in charge of the team last week against Manly, but said he was "99%" locked in to play his first game of the year on Sunday, with just one final box to tick at training throughout the week.

"It looks like it at this stage that I'll be playing," Mbye said.

great news, even though thompson looked great at fullback, Mbye can go back there and thompson can go to wing

I think if Mbye plays we will see Thompson drop out of the side. He was good last week but coming up against a big pack I see Maguire keeping Fonua in.

yeah, but i heard a rumour saying that jennings was injured?, not sure if its true or not but if he is , thompson is quite flexible and can take his spot

Yes I agree but only if Jennings is out. He has been named in the starting 13 and there hasn't been much publicity on him as to an injury

DT Late mail: The Tigers will welcome their captain Moses Mbye back after Mbye missed the opening round due to a knee injury. Mbye just has to get through the captain’s run on Saturday to be a confirmed starter and this will see Corey Thompson moving to the right wing with Mahe Fonua to drop out of the 17.

I hope not. Fonua was in beast mode last weekend. Much better than Jennings or Momo. Thompson does deserve a spot as well.

I'm not having a go at him, but I doubt the Warriors are all, "Curses! No point kicking at the little fella. He'll dominate us."

Thompson is a better FB than winger. Many of his good qualities are lost on the wing.

He is not a great kick returner, he is not a great scooter from dummy half, he is an average finisher. He is good in open space, which is not something the Tigers centres are good at doing for their wingers over the last few years. At fullback he can roam and pop up around the field which he is good at
