Humphreys wants an ocean of orange in the crowd. Blood Orange stands out more than Gold. That kit would look so much better with the white shorts .

I have no idea why you reference Humphreys wanting a sea of orange etc….. (that's just your strange agenda)!!!

But I do agree that the shorts should be black with the white jersey & white with the gold jersey!

Too much white with the alternate kit & not enough with the home version!!!

Redemption;
Humphreys was blown away by StGeorge's sea of Red and White last year. He said at the jersey launch that the colour Orange is our own colour and unique to the Wests Tigers and he wants to see as much of it up in the crowd as possible. Ring him and ask him yourself.

Dont go the raw prawn with me mate.

No raw prawn mate - I just know that you despise the orange & was not wanting to query your implicating Humphreys for those typical reasons!!

However - based on the fact you were initially responding to a question about the change in the shade of orange (& apparently also attributing that to Humphreys) - why would the CEO have any involvement in changing the shade of orange when the original was just as "unique" (IAW your justification)????

Darkening the colour makes it stand out less - NOT more (do you understand the light-colour spectrum???)!!!

Please respond - because you always avoid me when you don't have anything!!!

Good to see some positive posts from you though bug!!!

And good to see Josh Davis back home for your Magpies (we had more than enough back-row talent - & so do you given you've picked him at centre)!!

(Is Rips injured?)

And most importantly - great news for the Tiges with this sponsorship - does anyone remember the Hyundai ads that featured the Bulldogs in the 90s?? It was a classic!!

Hopefully they do a similar job featuring our boys!!!

Its not darkened,.. its fluororised…..betcha never heard that word before.
It glows....Hi vis....the boys shou;d be sweet if perchance some drunk lunatic in a forklift finds his way onto the Leichhardt turf

Redemption, my friend, the darker orange stands out more in both night and day. If they don't sell the ugly jerseys to fans at least they can sell them to Lilly pop ladies and road workers.

Also, my friend, I don't despise the Orange at all, in fact, I like it alot, but I just like an equal and fair distribution of all things Wests Tigers, 50/50 fair share of everything including colours, players etc etc .

God Bless
X

Ink - I understand the probably made-up word fluorised (i.e. made to be seen as fluorescent) - but until we see them at night - that will not be evident!!

I also may be wrong - but all I can register by sight is a distinct darkening of the shade of orange (which I thought was actually closer to fluoro in the previous all-gold jerseys of the past three years)!!

As for what the CEO had to do with that decision given the previous orange/gold was just as "unique" (according to bug's argument) - I still don't know!!!

Of anything - he would not want more static black because we share that with the Warriors & Penrith!!!

This has come to fruition in this jersey mix - but the white (being the non-shared colour) better represents the Magpies than any other (except the 2009 10-Year jersey - my recent favourite by the way!!)

Someone actually brought up the light spectrum. Love it. The new Orange is bold. I like it. It's similar to the 05 jersey colour. If anything, last years was more golden in nature anyway. Blood orange even sounds cool.

Moltz….in the Numero Uno... :sunglasses:

orange looks better there…
in all fairness, each time we've seen the jerseys it's been overcast. Lighting levels and all...

I'm certainly getting one. I agree with Humpreys, in last years final series the Saints supporters looked much more prominent then we did in the white and black. It's a great move to make the jerseys bolder.

I don't care what shade the orange is or what it looks like. I'm just getting one so the fellas can actually see the support they have behind them!! I think we all should.

Hyundai is a fantastic sponsor, the peoples car. Its will be a great partnership.

How good is Humpreys!? The bloke has been our best signing to date. I don't think that we would be near the club we are today without him. Sign him up for life!
