A bicep tear sustained by VB Blues hooker Robbie Farah earlier this week will not prevent the new Rabbitoh from facing his old club, the Wests Tigers, in one of the most anticipated matches in NRL history when Souths host the Tigers in Round 1.
The well-publicised falling out between Farah and the Wests Tigers in the past year led to Channel 9 and the NRL opting to stage the match on the first Friday of 2017 – and Farah won’t be missing the clash.
Farah has decided against having surgery on his bicep, which would have seen him face three to six months on the sideline, and will line up for the Rabbitohs on 3 March.
He will work closely with his brother, Eddie, a physiotherapist at the Rabbitohs, to ensure he manages the injury and puts his best foot forward for club and, potentially, his state in 2017.
**If Farah had elected to have surgery, his NSW VB Blues position would have most certainly been up for grabs.**
The hooker’s injury would have set alarm bells off at Redfern, with rising-star Cameron McInnes given an early release to the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Hmmmmm…
That would be a given though. His time as NSW hooker is nearly up, they will be blooding someone new sometime in this series or next you would think.
