I will not apologise for pushing my pro Magpie agenda especially when it comes to the junior nursery of the Macarthur...which if you can put your bias aside continues to produce quality youngsters for the Wests Tigers....it's function...

FACT..CAMP CONCORD has a strong leaning toward the Balmain side of the joint venture..I believe it goes back to the 89 Grand final...Sheensy feels for them...You only have to see who turns up to State Cup games for proof..Sheens never misses Leichhardt...Cambo gets whoever draws the short straw last minute Friday..

FACT...Any junior coming out of Balmain gets pumped up..Sirro jnr prime example..now the kid is a talent no doubting that but if his name was Curtis Midadaintfamus..he wouldn't be gettin pages on the official webstite i dont think...Lazzo before him...Luke Brooks wiil be the next...

FACT...Wests Magpies provides quality kids year in year out..You only have to look at the current training squad... Lance Siataga, Shaun Spence ( I know Griffith but he has Pie blood in him) Luke Turner, Tim Sloman, Matt Groat, Jay Bonnell and another not mentioned Sonny Bristow...

FACT..look at FG and the players Ive already mentioned and tell me Wests Magpies aren't doing it's job..

FYI... I am traditionalist as the come I love the Magpies always have always wiil BUT ..I am also a realist and believe that a single JV state cup team is essential for the success of the WESTS Tigers..It is a no brainer..the NRL side is priorty no. 1 ...it makes sense for all the contracted top 25 not playing FG to be in the 1 team along with the fringies and up and comers...Shame Wests will get screwed for it to happen but hey nothin new...

I believe Jake Townsend and Mathew Etchell who both sustained serious injuries in 2009 are back training with Wests Magpies SG Ball at Hillier Oval. It will be interesting to see How they go.

Struggling to get excited about the 2011 Magpies SG Ball team….Except for Bristow, Nofoaluma,Tedesco and maybe Townsend can't see many others making the step up to 20's...at this stage........ At this stage !
