That's a great reply and a great point!

We want to give the power to someone who is competent and will make good decisions for us all.

It's such a simple thing that you really have to question anyone questioning it lol

That’s the thing some people are missing.

It is that simple.

A board only focused on the Wests Tigers interests not HBG interests. That’s unity.

Just saying that if it's going to be a central, strong, influential and lasting voice it's wise to set it up In such a way that the will of the fans that support it, is mirrored in the leadership.

It's the same thing you're protesting against...the fans will does not align with the current leaders and we are helpless to change it. Doing things in that way will eventually lead to discontent and division.

If this initiative is being setup as a single-issue movement and that's all, then my comments aren't relevant and don't apply.

Darcy mentioned; a fan group similar to other large sporting team fan groups.
He used the words ; transparent and accountable.
That’s all I heard.
I think, if structured professionally, a fan association can utilise a lot of power and persuasion. Obviously , as you said needs to be a mouthpiece for the whole group.
I signed up.
 
Fans don’t need to be on the Board. Fans just need to be heard. A fan representation group having input to the CEO. The CEO should deal with any ongoing issues either directly or through the board if it required Board level approval.

The Wests Tigers Board needs to be independent. The 7 member board worked well.

1x Balmain

1x Magpies

1x HBG

4x Independent (skills based) including the Board Chair.

Not exactly clear that the haste with which to stand down the independants meant Wests Ashfield intended to move away from the independant model.

Vlandys arbitration of the matter siding with Wests Ashfield might mean more will come to light re why in coming days.

Certainly Vlandys decision was meant to be final.

And by the way, I notice your moderators and others pushing for dropping the name Wests are still here and not called out.

Is this the official policy of this forum, because obviously there is alot of bias here?

Not really any different of people calling for the dropping of Tigers.

Don't know what your talking about there? Obviously something that doesn't suit your narrative. For a guy who talks like he knows all the answers that's a soft response.

Seems nobody likes to answer tough questions on here which don't suit them, they only like asking questions.

And you know the NRL has actually allowed HBG to go with 1 less independent. Obviously the hasty stand down was ridiculous, hence the reinstatement.

But Vlandys didn't enact a decision to be countermanded.

I wonder if it will become a police matter.
