Not a bad half considering it's the first hit out. Also, ground announcer is very annoying.
Forwards look good, Reynolds looked sharp. Brooks looks like he did last year and the year before that. Trying hard but just bad options. He needs to lift.

We're surprisingly good for a first hit out in oppressive heat. Who's brilliant idea was it to play a trial match in Cairns in February??? 😰 Cowboys are playing more like schoolboys tonight! That missed goal in front of the posts indicative of their ineptness in that first half.

If Brooks doesn't pull his finger out he will be lucky to be in the top 17 six weeks into the season. His passing game has been ordinary, as is his kicking game.

When I heard what forwards we had sitting out tonight I thought we would be bullied up the middle. But it was the opposite with that our strongest feature.
