A quick recap of the first half: eels unlucky not to have scored 3 tries. They have caught the tigers short down utai's wing twice and down koroibete's wing once but execution is letting them down. The tigers have made the most of their chances though and look solid. Benji and robbie have been good. Buchanan, blair and pettybourne have been solid in d. Moltzen has run the ball back straight, galloway has been ok, as has thompson off the bench. Anasta is playing left edge and also looks alright.
 
Benji just stepped straight through from the kick off, stepped the fullback but was cut down from behind.
Marika was in under the posts but dropped the pill with the line begging. #NRLwstpar
 
I know it's just a trial but if wests can come out and not capitulate like we have seen many times after a good half ill be happy

It's only a trial but I'm happy the team is up by 24 rather than down by 24.
Just hoping that we can now get through the game with no injuries.

Also be interesting too see how we go in the second half as I imagine especially being up 24 zip we will have made a lot of 2nd half changes- hopefully get tedesco on for40 mins and brooks and see how they go against to players
