What’s Richo Made Of

I'd be amazed if Richo does not pull a few people into his office tomorrow to discuss last night's disaster and the mostly garbage performances dished up since round 3. Richo does not strike me as a guy who is prepared to tolerate players, coaches or any others who can't perform at an acceptable level.

I can’t believe you couldn’t get Bud Sullivan, Alaimalo, Seyfarth and Lobbster to win an NRL game. Especially with our injured 18yo five eighth. Come on man.
 
They want $81 for seats parallel to the try line in bay 11 for next week
Dunno why I'm even thinking of going but I dunno it's a lot of money for shit seats... Probably better to get GA for half the price

I always thought Benji would survive this year … but last night was a disaster and at least the equal of what we have seen of anything from the Pascoe era ..

it looks to me that the players quit on him in that second half …it doesn’t matter who you are, you won’t last long as a coach in professional sports if you lose the players ..

Interesting 2 months ahead

We haven’t played finals in nearly 15 years in a comp where for the majority of those years, literally half the teams in the comp play finals. And none of us have walked away. I think we’ve earned the right to say what we want.

I said in another thread last night, we lost 44-0 in the second half. That doesn’t have the same shock factor the same way being down 44-0 at half time would have, but it’s arguably worse to play like that in the second half. Especially when leading at half time.

I reckon we should be aiming for 12th in 4 years. That might be realistic. Love your positivity still though Tom, hang on brother, hang on.

Trouble is sacking him now would make it worse if that's possible. As some have said, get Arthur in or someone similar to give Bunji help. He's clearly out of his depth.

I actually think he will get them into the Top 8 in 4 years… it’s a pretty modest goal really … not a lot to be proud of for the average fan but would be like a premiership for us …

then he probably will have had enough and move on..

Unfortunately next year looks like another stinker and possibly spoon
 
Not sure why Stef is copping it so much and some of our more experienced players are getting a free pass- we were leading 14-4 when Stef went off in first half and he made 42 tackles with only 1 miss, no errors and no penalties.

API had 10 missed tackles and 3 ineffective, Olam made 4 of the 10 errors we made, Seyfarth had 9 missed or ineffective and gave away 2 penalties and made the simplest of errors and was the 2nd row defender on a side which fell apart. Sullivan made errors, missed tackles and got sin binned.

I wonder if 4 back to back spoons is a record? Sad to think that’s a possibility.

At this point like many I’m flat as.
My wife asked me last night “why do you do this?” I can’t even answer anymore. Hard to hang onto any level of positivity after where we are yet again.

No one of any standing or quality that's for sure....

You can't punt him. It has to come from Benji himself which I can't see happening.

The ideal situation is Benji decides he isn't ready, puts his hand up and steps down. Arthur comes in. The parra players loved Arthur for 10 years, so I reckon Luai and Turuva will be fine with the change.

can’t argue … Even the very few games they win Im on the edge of my seat expecting them to find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory ..
