WHAT A DISGRACE!!!!!!!!

I dont mind losing but that was nothing short of disgracefull. Simmons as defence coach has to go NOW, and IAM thinking Potter has to follow. The reason Potter has to go the players dont have any respect for him turning in that type of performence, its been ten weeks now and there is nothing, not one set play , we cant set up any real attacking plays and the defence is rubbish. if potter was coaching A grade he would be gone.

Royce I have to agree with, but Potter i will bide my time on. We went soft where we were tough and close enough to plugged the leaks out wide. Potters most difficult job is instilling confidence, and for me he has proven he can achieve that. He got Benji running tonight.

You can't blame Potter for what Teflon Tim wanted at the club. I'll give him until 2015 and if it is still a dud by then you have my vote.

No way he lasts until 2015\. This side has degressed under his stewardship. We were always hopeless in defence, but now we are the same in attack. Add that to the fact that he has yanked Farah and Marshal and let a halfback go whilst allowing perrenial unde achievers like Blair and Lawrence to remain says a lot about him to me. Sure he has inherited a poor roster….he has somehow made them worse than last year, despite bringing in so called young guns.....I think he would make a great coaches assistant, but NRL level coach is beyond his talents.

After like 11 rounds and an injury toll that rivals the aftermath of a 12 car pile up on the M1 let's write off the first coach that has coached this side of primadonnas that have never been able to tackle anyway and fluked wins by doing things like accidentally drop kicking it instead of just dropping it and regathering to score or kicking arsey field goals before half time and winning by one.

1\. New coach
2\. Injury toll
3\. Team of pansies
4\. Team without structure
5\. Team that fluked wins in the past

Really?

We cant afford to let him stuff the team up and let him destroy them, but I am not prepared to write him off yet.. Lets see how he goes for the rest of the year. Can he build up the team and getting playing a postive game. Strong defence and solid attack.

But he needs to start making his mark on the team, his only mark so far has been getting rid Miller.

I always thought the guy who came in after Sheens would have to be a sacrificial lamb just to deal with the crap Sheens left behind both on and off the field

Not too angry cause I expected as much, I was only 6 points away from picking the Rabbitohs score.

But still, first half sloppy defense, we could of done alot better.

Yep, the scoreline was pretty much what was anticipated. However, the way we put up the white flag in defence through the middle of the ruck was bloody not acceptable from blokes at this level- no ticker whatsoever in the 1st half, 2nd half was a bit more respectable.

The worse part was that it was the first half where we were horrible. I expected them to come out fire up and get run over in a flurry towards the end but not we gave up before we even hit the field.

Last night we really showed no ticker or commitment in defence. That in itself was alarming. Thing is, some of these players should be playing for their career and they're not doing themselves any favors by putting in efforts (or lack of) like that.

Everyone expected us to get flogged and we proved them right. There was no standing tall as a team and playing for pride.
Its more upsetting than any other feeling i can express. Sure that leads to anger, frustration etc but to see the team not having a real dig is disappointing.
laugh of the town we are atm …

He is the worst coach in the NRL period they offer nothing I would go to say he would challenge terry lamb for the worst wests tigers coach im handing in my wests tigers season ticket I don't need t put up this crap they are an insult and have no respect for the jersey or there players all they are doing is turning up for there meal tickets and not putting in at all you cant blame the young players its the older players whom are turning up at all

Changing coaches will do NOTHING for the team in it's current state. Putting any blame on Potter for our current plight is absurd. I agree with Simmons though. This is old territory with him. Potter may well look to bring in his own people at the end of the year. Who knows?? He may not though. What I saw last night didn't surprise me. We again made so many rookie mistakes. We put ourselves under pressure and never gave ourselves a chance. These things are fixable though.

Look right through the clubs football department and roster.

It is all jobs for the boys costing us.

No sane club would employ Skando & Leeds to positions of prominence in the high performance unit.

No sane club would pay Royce money to come back. But Sheensy was looking after his mate who got punted for the ESL for being rubbish.

No sane club would hire Georgalis, one of the underling ringleaders of the toxic culture at the Penrith Panthers.

Hit the nail on the head. I too, asked my South's mate to restrict the score to 60\. This is the reality. Anyone who thought we would, could or can compete at this level in the current environment is living in fantasyland. Potter is trotting out a bunch of boys, you know, the ones, everyone was saying could do a better job than the experienced guys. Only now, are some of the honest fellows admitting that the young future stars are not up to it, by themselves.

The experienced boys are drowning out there, because they know that so many young guns can not be trusted to make the right decision in attack and defence. I feel sorry for the Weststigers at this unfortunate time. It must be killing the injured players on the sideline as well. Go Weststigers!

Can not see WT ending Potter's term early due to the situation with Sheens .No way is a club going to pay out two coachs then employ a third.

This is the reality my fellow Tiger supporters. Anyone who thought we could send out a team who thinks they are playing touch football, could compete against a well drilled forward pack like the Rabbits, must have there heads stuck between their legs. Sure we are going to sit back and rubbish the team, what do you expect. I believe increasing players salaries is not the answer. Performance based contracts is the way to go. You will see a different type of football on the park each weekend when they know their lively hoods are on the line
