What can you say?

In the last 3 games, we had a total brain fade in the 20 minutes after halftime against knights, all other tries have come off fluky kicks. We have conceded 3 tires in 2 games, all off kicks.

Against Melb, our issue was goal line defense. We only let them in our 20 a total of 5 or 6x all game.

Defence is a big positive. We are still losing the ruck, are super dumb and attack is probably worst in the NRL, but let's build on this defence.
 
Ordinarily we would be expected to capitulate and meekly give it away but I am confident that despite ourselves we deservedly own the spoon this year.
 
Joe Ofahengaue - slow 10 second play the balls, faking injuries and fat slow defence.

Jacob Liddle - slow service, bombed 2 trys, went himself on fourth tackles thinking he could do it himself.

Daine Laurie - Weak, Fragile, offers nothing and is no where to be seen.

Tyrone Peachy - Journeymen, fat slob that is here for a pay check to end in a job with the club after.

Michael Maguire - poor coaching going for the 2, should have trusted the team and Brooks/Madden should have went for a set restart, poor interchange bringing Seyfarth on at the last second, should have been used throughout the game.

Positives

Jock Madden offers more then anyone has for awhile.

Zane Musgrove runs it up good

I’m gutted for sure, but it was a pretty bad game of footy and you can see that our 1 doesn’t talk to anyone, our 9 and 7 are besties, while our 6 is just trying to win.

Agree the defence is notably improving but in needs to continue on that trajectory. Many times in the past it’s started looking up, only to fall back down again due to whatever reason. Glad it’s improved, it’s great to see but I still have no confidence it will continue.
 
Just goes to show the confidence the coach has in his halves producing a in goal repeat set if we don't score a try. I AM SO USED TO THIS ITS NEARLY WATER OFF A DUCKS BACK
 
awesome defence like last week - only tries conceded coming from kicks

every game this year we've had more line breaks, which is impressive.

please, can the club just appoint a player who has the job to run up the middle of the field in support when a break is made.

please.

I rid myself of these clowns about 4 years ago.
I recall my disappointment and stated departure was encouraged by a "You won't be missed" retort by a fellow member.
I still note however, the same old die hards praying for good things to come....It won't happen!
The NRL should fold this team, pack them off to WA in the name of "expansion". And allow all of you the time to grieve over the carcass of your previously beloved Magpie or Tiger.
This merger is brocken and farcical.
The pressure is on the NRL to address this Black and Gold stain on the NRL banner.

I’m just thankful losses have no affect on me these days. Why get upset? This club is not worth the agony.
 
I've never seen a team with as little to no luck like our team.

I felt they defended very well for pretty much the entire game, especially when down a player in the bin. And that gives me confidence somewhat. I'm a big believer in defence. If you can stop the opposition from scoring, you're always gonna be in the game.

Now we need to learn to score without GAF
