What does this mean for Moltzen?

He showed his heart was with us, staying after we sort of released him. Shame if the tigers don't return the favor.

As harsh as it sounds, Wests shouldn't have an obligation to re-sign him just because he turned his back on the Dragons deal. If theres no position for him and his form isn't up to scratch they only have one choice. Gibbs showed heart for almost 10 yrs but it didn't stop them from making him pack his bags two months after he had signed a 3 yr extention

Totally agree, but he did come back after being unwanted. Agreeing with whatever call the club makes. Let's hope it's an easy call, with Tim firing again.

as someone said, its up to Moltzen to perform.

With Anasta and Benji in the halves, it leaves 3 spots which Moltzen can play. He can either go in to battle with Tedesco for the number 1 spot. Lets not forget Moltzen at the end of last year at fullback was very very good. He has only had one game there. Its Moltzens jersey probably for this year and if he plays well, as far as im concerned its Tedescos job to take it off him. I know he made that mistake on monday, but I still see signs he has a future at fullback.

His other two options are at right centre, which he has played before.

And finally, in the 14 jersey. And in fact he could be a very usefull 14 as hes quick and elusive. The problem is Sheens doesnt use that "utility back" role like other coahces do, bringing them on late in the first half etc to catch opposition out.

Will be interesting to see, but now that Moltzen is back in the 1, lets see how he goes, He is a naturally gifted player, more so than 95% of our team besides Marshall and Farah. Im sure there is a position for him here.

I used think Moltzen would be brilliant as a 14, but after seeing him off the bench last year, it became obvious he is not the kind of player who can come off the bench. Tim is the type of player which works his way into games and coming from the bench he would have little to no impact unless in the case of injury.

If you don't think it was the club who asked him to turn his back on the Dragons and stay after the Lui business you're crazy.
Can hear it now… "Don't answer the phone when they call ... we'll fix it up"

I understand he done it for the clubs sake. I can understand we can't keep him if he's not performing. I can't understand what your saying, compared to what we've already said.

Moltzen should now know that the next three months will decide his long term future-

"Sing for your supper, Tim!"

No way it a shame . as TW said PERFORM and youll force them to give you a contract , keep playing the way he is and England beckons .

If you guys did not notice we have so many good guys for next year we are not sure where t put the rookies, anyway moltzen will stay fb for the rest of the year because tedesco is injured for the whole year and tbh you shouldnt be worried about moltzen the only club that would be interested in him after what he did are sharks and roosters so if he gors nsw cup you shouldnt worry he is staying at tigers….

Personally I think after the anasta signing moltzen will be doing cartwheels as he won't be the most hated player at the club anymore!!!!

I hate the word hate - particulary when we are talking about the Tigers. People have issues with Moltzens first few games but he is not Robinson Caruso there either. As for Braith - I think he will be a great signing for the club and have a read of Sheen's comments as to why they signed him - you may change your mind too.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing how Moltzen would go being Farah's relieve off the bench as hooker for 15-20 minutes a game Just to see how it would go If it fails no lose Especially seeing him rip out of dummy half late in a half Might be effective

I think it leaves him in a reasonably bad spot, unless he performs. Tedesco is earmarked for the fullback spot, I reckon a number 14 might look good.

I think that you just can't blame Moltz for our bad start. The whole team needs a good kick in the pants. Tim Moltzen all by himself didn't miss 39 tackles. The team isn't gelling at the moment that's all. You can't just blame Timmy for that..I hope we do find a position for him.

Spot on mate, he's a fullback or bench player. He is versatile enough to cover a few positions, but I can't see him starting anywhere but full back

Yeah Moltzen will stay and play off the bench - he's ideal given the number of positions he can cover.
And when the inevitable raft of injuries we seem to always cop rears its ugly head - he'll be invaluable.

Unfortunately, he takes about 6 weeks to settle in to any given position

The club and Sheens have made it very clear who will be the No.1 next year and for many years to come and it isn't Moltzen.

First thing Moltzen should do is get a new manager. He had a good 3 year deal and gave it up with no talk of his contract being extended past this year at the tigers.
No. 14 is the only spot possibly left for him but Humble might have something to say about that.
