Coach recruitment is on Pascoe. He searches for coaches and the board rubber-stamps his decisions.

Obviously, PR wise, the Tigers can't sack another coach, but perhaps Sheens can cite bad health and move back into the director's role. We could then hire Des, who got the dogs to the grand final with average halves, playing everything through the forwards. This is our strength currently and seems like the only way forward for us at the moment (pun intended)!
I will tell you how Sheens and co work.....

I would have loved Payten to stay on here or come here from Warriors.
Wasn’t a popular opinion here. I don’t remember if he coached got a head coach job here and I probably shouldn’t have included Webster for his few fill in games.
That leaves Cleary as our only appointed head coach who has left for higher honours.
That we didn’t or couldn’t hang on to Payten is probably a compliment to the guy. Or was it when someone turned the fans on high while the crap was flying everywhere?
When Todd coached the nyc to a gf win, didn’t he have Teddy, Woods, Moses, Brooks etc in his squad?
He’s a young coach on the rise.
Have a look at what Todd has done so far as a coach,NYC gf winner with good players,coached at warriors now at the cows and gaining much experience as a rising NRL coach....
In 2 years we are getting a coach with no experience at coaching at any level bar his term as an apprentice under a low percentage winning rate coach who hasnt coached in NRL for a decade,won a premiership for the WTs 18 years ago and the Admin are placing all our hopes on this experiment for success....
I think I would back Todd to be more successful and good luck to him......

I remember when we tried to sign Ciraldo, there was an army of coaches and ex players issuing public warnings of “let the buyer beware” which was something I’ve never seen before? 😩
I didnt go to the open session at concord but heard alot of dropped ball. I also heard that sheens was directly questioned by a member and Sheens said, from what I understand, that passing and catching the ball wasnt important for that drill? What!!?? Thata almost as good as we won the swcond half.

Head’s should roll over this, there are some many deficiencies in our team that have not been sorted over preseason the question needs to be asked “what the hell have you blokes been doing?”, coz it looks like the first time they met was game day round 1.
Not to mention the glaring flaws of our halves and the lack of them in the roster.
I think every rugby league fan out there knows you can’t win without good D, so we did 200 passes a day instead of 200 tackles a day to appease Sheens’s attacking footy ego.
I am a little over it and thebshiit excuses fruit pascals has dish up for the last ten years, now his put blind faith in Teflon Tim selling me a 5 year plan when the dr is selling me a 2 year plan so what the hell am I supposed to do?

You don’t add 4 representative level players and add 2 suggested good players that didn’t play last year at all and go backwards or you shouldn’t
How I remember it Benji and Farah wanted Payten when Sheens was sacked but the board went for Potter as to not be seen they were dictated to.Then the Teddy’s and Moses’s were entrusted to J Taylor and the rest is history
That is how i remember it also.As usual the board's plan was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike
