What Goes Around Comes Around

 Hadley

The same guy who ranted for 5 minutes or so that Gibbs should have been sent because it is a dog act to drop knees into someone prone after scoring a try.

And as much as I love Blocker, geez he is spineless on that show. it is obvious who controls the pay stream on that little boat

He'll get a grade 2 charge & that will be reduced to a grade 1 on appeal leaving him eligible to play the grand final.
Put money on it.

Spot on…..it stinks..........

If they are fair dinkum he will get two weeks, looked a lot worse than Gibbs but having said that I have seen far worse from both Soward and Thurston so who knows…...The juduciary should feel right under the pump, if they had been consistent throughout the year it would be a no-brainer but they haven't so there is bound to be a lot of heat coming their way regardless of the ruling.

I think we all know it was worse than Gibbs. We will see him receive a lesser charge that escapes suspension if he pleads guilty or we will see him found not guilty. Would be nice to see Consistency and get at least 2 weeks but not holding my breath.

So it has begun, Hadley and the so called experts think Gibbs tackle was worse…there you go tell me there is no Media bias.

Do they even offer an explanation why? It would be good to hear it

No not really he was replying to an email as someone had said that Gibbs example had set a precedent but he disagreed as Gibbs had acarry over points, not sure why this makes a difference and that in his opinion Gibbs tackle was worse to which Blocker agreed and added he hopes Hayne gets off.

So what is he saying, that carry-over points decide what grade indiscretion it is???

Moving the hearing to tomorrow gives their decision away imo. Get it out of the way so that Parra fans know hes playing and get tickets. It's all about the money….

I would love to be proved wrong though.

if you play rep footy you get off, just like thurston did in origin. They will let him play because parra are a one man team and if he doesnt play melbourne win by 40 and we cant have that on grand final day 2 years in a row.

thank you tigh, finally somebody with some sense. It was nothing, he was going for the tackle but after the try had been scored tried to pull out. He shouldn't get any suspension. I think gibbs' was worse.

you and tigh are fools. he led with the knees which is illegal if he was making a tackle he would of dove with his arms to try and stop the ball not his knees, he should be suspended.

That's pretty much what I posted before Gibbs copped 3 weeks.

His knee his Burt's bum, Hayne's knee hit Goodwin's head.

Which is more dangerous?

With Jarryd Hayne and Matt Keating both facing the judicary,
do you think either of them should get suspended?

i think they will let hayne play but suspend keating, it should be the other way around but if they suspend one of them it wont make the NRL judicary look spineless

How was it worse though?

Gibbs hit Burts lower back while Hayne hit Goodwins head.

Haynes had so much potential to be a serious injury, and what happened to Goodwin was worse than what happened to Burt regardless.

I agree - he will 100% play. Realistically neither Gibbs nor Hayne should be suspended for what they did, 8 pt try should be sufficient penalty.

It isn't fair on Gibbsie, but I'll cop it because without Hayne the GF would be a lesser spectacle. What happens Rd 1 or 2 next year isn't so important.

Vossy is supporting Gibbs on the Roast.

They were arguing that Hayne's offence was in an important game and Vossy brought up how each of our games were sudden death to make the finals. MG called out Vossy as being a Tigers supporter

Hayne was never going to miss at the grand final, though he should. El Masri made a dive at Burt in the same game with his hands that was perfectly safe. Why can't anyone else do it? If you can get there with your knees, you can deffinately get there with your hands.
.
Keating I don't think should have got anything. Hannant burst through and Keating was trying to get something, and got his arm. The rule was made to stop wrestling tactics and that was not one. Just unfortunate.
