4 forwards ran over 100 (pre updates).

Do you have the stats for each forward?

Saw it on NRL app - can't screenshot from the app for some reason.
Twal, Luc, Offa and Mikaele cracked the ton

Can't bag it really. 4 backs and 4 forwards ran over 100m. All of our back seven except Nofo came up with a try assist.

Mbye was much better at five eighth and really combined well with the rest of the spine and having AD in the centres still gave us the punch and third half option.

Yes Newcastle were horrible but we really showed up for a change. Even still though, we let in four tries and a couple were very soft.

I like that nearly everyone had 10-15 runs. No passengers tonight.

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought we played deeper in attack.

Seems like we were playing a bit flat in previous games, hence giving our centres/wingers no time with the ball out wide.

We won but we're still along way from the 8.

Our bench is ordinary and **we still let in 4 tries against a ordinary team**. Heaps to go

Two whilst we had a man in the bin....

No we didn’t, we were still very flat. It was easy to compare to the next game where Manly stood very deep in attack. They basically had a V shape behind the play the ball. The difference was stark.

I’m comparing to other Tigers games, not Manly games.

Lol
It was 50/50 which way I went...

Something was different today, we threw the ball around from the first minute, one of the coaching staff has finally done the job. We played more eyes up footy, less structure and we dominated, forwards dominated and brooks went to another level today due to both things. I hope we keep playing like that in attack. Defence needs to tighten up, another game where we let a couple easy try’s in. If we can stop those ones and attack like today, we might string a few wins.

Can't remember where I heard it, but someone was saying the lower teams all try and achieve a high completion rate, but the interesting take away from that is that they still lose games because they play it too safe with ball in hand.

He went on to say that those teams are better off throwing the ball around and trying to back their attack if they want any hope of winning.

Tonight felt like we were in attack mode (although it fell away a bit in the scond half).

I thoroughly enjoyed the brand of footy we played tonight and we got the 2 points as well.
