I revisited recently and everything Eminem show and before held up well.

All the newer stuff is quite painful to listen to, imo.

Agree with this. I listened to a heap of his records last year. First three albums brilliant. After that there is the odd good track between a lot of rubbish.

Saw him live, right up the front in 2001. Great show

Heard a few newer songs and the lyrics are so cringe.
Like intentionally trying to be repulsive and offensive but just coming across childish and weird.

Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP and the Eminem Show are, imo... flawless albums. Even the "funny" songs are still quite good.

All downhill from that though.
